KOOFIN GEAR mens Hoodie Hoodie

All in all it is like most of my other fishing shirts. I will say that this one will probably be relegated to cooler Texas days and early fall. It is definitely thicker/heavier than my other Koofin, Magellan, Columbia PFG shirts. I am 6’1” 250lbs of dad bod and the 2xl fit well so I’d say it is true to size. Overall I am impressed with the features and price point and will most certainly buy more as I need them.

It provides good sun protection with the combination of the hood and the face cover sleeve. I found this shirt slightly heavier than top branded products who does not provide such a good sun protection. Tha face sleeve does not stay in place during a long time so it has to be re-positioned quite often, especially if you are in constant movement, but it is better than nothing. This is why the 4 stars instead of 5. I recommend clearer colors if your purpose is to stay under the sun rays. I selected this darker color also for cammo reasons.

Outstanding hoodie. This is 2 layers so a little warmer than my other Koofin Gear. Perfect for 60-75 degree fishing. Great for fishing or working out. Very breathable. Large zip up pocket is clutch. I’m 5-10, 165lbs and the small fits me well.

This shirt is amazing as far as material, style and functionality. Looks great and I love the built in gaiter with hood. It has holes in the nose and mouth area for easy breathing and wearable all day. The ONLY issue is that it is a little snug. If you like your shirts tight, like a hug, then it'll be perfect for you. I like mine a little loose with some extra give. But I've got a fishing trip coming up so I'm just gonna bear with it.

Love these shirts for fishing or being out in the sun. Most people think that I would be hot but I'm actually much cooler with the protection from the sun. The balaclava is my favorite part as I can easily cover my body to be out on the boat for hours and not burn.
