AquaIllumination Hydra 32/64 HMS Single Light Mount Kit

I was very hesitant to pull the trigger on this arm due to it's steep price. I tried to look for other options and even considered making a bracket on my own. The cable system was not an option for me due to the location of my aquarium. All in all i am glad I did buy this arm. It looks very nice and clean. And, it is very sturdy.

I didn’t realize this was made only for rimless. It’s okay though, I just took a razor blade to the rim and now it fits. Very sturdy and no problems after 6 months of use.

The quality on this is very good! It’s almost all metal the only part that isn’t is the clamp which obviously you don’t want to be metal. Bought it for the new Hydra 32hd’s, and it fits. The only issue is the cord will not go into the recess because it’s to thick. Ended up zip tying it the frame. Would look better in the recess but it still looks great. Has a lot of adjustments to get it exactly where you want it. Would definitely recommend!

I had the misfortune of finding out that this is for rimless tanks only. However with a bit of ingenuity i managed to make it work with my tank. The design is great to look at once assembled but here lies the second issue. It's a pain in the ass to put together. If you can get past both hurdles than this is a great mount for your hydra.

Great tank mount, however very pricey for what it is.

Horrible hook design for any tank that isn't rimless. The adapter piece that connects the light to the top rail was missing screws. There was no included Allen wrench which is show to be included in the directions.Sadly.. I understand why it's so hard to find photos of this online. Because no one will be able to use it.
