I used to use nyx bb cream until it was discontinued. It was so natural looking. I am happy they did, or I wouldn't have tried Carter Beauty half measure. Carter beauty half measure looks very natural and covers flaws without it looking like you have a lot of makeup on. You can build coverage, but just a bit looks fresh (no makeup look) I highly recommend this foundation! I have tried many and this one is a winner!

Carter Beauty Half Measure Dewy FoundationThis foundation is wonderful for dry skin. I don't have to do anything extra to get it to work. It offers almost full coverage and is best applied with fingertips or a synthetic brush. It wears really well and didn't start falling apart until after 8 hours of wear. I did order the wrong shade but I will order this again in the right shade which is Creme Brulee and that matches my normal foundation of Clinique Beyond Perfecting in Ivory (CN28). This was incredibly thick, and goopy, and gross. It sits ontop of the skin, in no way can it blend. DO NOT BUY.

I thought maybe I could get away with the sticky toffee (only shade offered) as a summer “me with a tan” shade, but it’s just WAY too dark for me as anything work all over the face. I might be able to still blend it into ones too light or use in contouring, but I’m less likely to use it based on the color than any part of the product itself.I do purchase more expensive “dew skin” products regularly, so I was hoping this could be a more affordable version of dew skin BC for me, but it didn’t impress me enough in general to want to rebuy it in the lighter shade that might match me.I have pretty sensitive skin with breakouts from some soaps and detergents, and it didn’t make me break out at all. So it does seem sensitive skin friendly.There are no funky scents or scent issues.I slightly dislike the packaging on this for the product that it is.It’s in a serum type of packaging- so a glass bottle with a silicone cap and a glass dropper.Except the product is way thicker than any serum that you would ever buy.So the product is hard to suck up- like it took me a few tries to get the hang of it and I use other thin serums and essential oils and droppers all the time on the daily so it was 100% how weirdly thick this is to be paired with a dropper. Once in the dropper it was also a little hard to then dispense into your hand.It also makes a mess being dispensed this way, and then the cover that’s light pink ends up with brown foundation all over it when you close it.It took me three times washing hands to get it all off and I also had to clean up the bottle. I kept thinking it was just really unexpected way to package foundation, and not in a good way. It seems really inefficient to use it and transport it, and it’s so thick and sticky that it’s bound to leave a bunch of product all left unused all around the bottle unless you have a silicone beauty spatula to clean it out at the end.The glass is also impractical for travel or taking on the go in a makeup bag or purse.At the end of the day I would have preferred a packaging more in like with a squeeze bottle with pump top and that would have been faster, cleaner, and more portable.While I didn’t mind the consistency, scent, or coverage of the foundation, it didn’t win me over enough to want to buy it in a lighter shade for myself.Overall I’m underwhelmed by it.

Its the perfect shade for me its just too thick and caked on if I put less I don't get enough coverage and if I put any more it looks really caked and bad... It just feels cheap to wear. I wouldn't recommend it, sorry.

I liked the foundation washydrating and moisturizing to myskin and yet not oily.I chose the color sticky toffee.I believe the color is true to its name.I found the consistency pretty thick andsmooth going on my face with my makeup sponge.I like it has good coverage.I felt that it was not heavy on my skin.I found it help cover my dark spot and flaws.My skin did not feel weighed down.My skin did not have that feeling ofbeing greasy.I did use a setting powder after applyingthe liquid makeup.I found that the color stayed on andlasted all day.I shake it before using.I believe the dropper in the bottle is verygood at limiting the flow of the makeup thatcomes out of the bottle. It comes out one dropat a time, this is due to the thickness of the product.I think that it is a nice design in helpingto limit the waste of the product.I found that the makeup is comparablein price compared to others of this size.I have enclosed pictures so you can makea informed decision based on your ownpersonal needs.Yes, I would recommend this product.

I was not sure if this "Sticky Toffee" color of Foundation by Carter was going to work with my fair skin, but lo and behold - it works! The frosted glass container makes it look darker. The lid has a built-in squeeze bulb with clear plastic applicator to dab easily around the face. After spreading around I noticed the glow, shine, shimmer, or whatever you want to call it - Dewy is the word. This particular makeup has that look that gives the impression of a fresh dewy complexion of a much younger woman - a very nice look. Turns out I like the look, and I did add a bit of blush, again for that youthful look. The Carter Beauty products are quite nice, I'm happy with my selection.

i bought this foundation because i needed a darker shade after getting tan & this is honestly the best foundation i’ve ever tried. it doesn’t transfer, it doesn’t look orange like most foundations ive tried, the formula is amazing & it blends so nicely, it’s sweat proof & it looks so so natural. it covers all my redness & acne beautifully. it’s definitely a foundation i would purchase again and again.

I am obnoxiously pale and was having trouble finding a foundation the marshmallow shade was perfect it stays all day until you use a cleanser and it allows my natural undertones to peak through while still covering the red acne i have. I was insanely impressed
