This Is The One For Great Pad Thai Sauce!
Great flavored palm sugar for Thai cooking. It has that slight butterscotch flavor and just the right abount of sweetness.Aroy Dee! Add your Tamarind paste and Thai fish sauce and balance the flavors and you're on your way to making greatPad Thai.I recommend Pailin's Hot Thai Kitchen videos on her website or YouTube for complete instructions!I only wish it were cheaper. It was still fresh when I received it, cut reasonably well, and is a Thai product.

Good quality! Green Papaya salad came out great!
The media could not be loaded. Voraga Pure Palm Sugar. Love it! I ordered this for som tum (green papaya salad). It was packaged nicely with a nice closable lid. And, It came very quickly!I didn’t count but you get a lot of these medallion palm sugars. I don’t know too much about palm sugar but these look fresh crystallines compacted together. Very easy to break down. I shaved it and then cut it through again. The flavor is deep flavored like brown sugar without the molasses. It is actually yummy!Measured out, it’s bigger than a US quarter. The bottle is about 6-inches tall; 3-1/2 inches in diameter. And, depending on how you compact it in a measuring spoon, it’s about 1 1/2 tablespoons slightly compacted. When added to my sauces, it dissolved very quickly!Very good quality! So glad I took a chance to buy this product especially at the price! I made a large 7-cup green papaya salad using 4-medallions and it was perfect! Highly recommend; and, will buy again when I run out!

Good product 😁
I had only had Palm Sugar brought to me from my niece in Columbia before, which is pretty great by the way.Since I enjoy working with the Palm Sugar - I randomly chose this product to try based on the description and the reviews.I am not disappointed one bit - of COURSE it's different than what i've had - but it's a great 'substitute' - and the value is great, the taste is great, it's baking ability is what I hoped for, and it's DELICIOUS melted in a cup of coffee or tea!The sellers are great to work with and delivery was fast. 👍👍

Delicious
Delicious. Easy to cut. I like these smaller ones better than the larger ones.

I needed Palm sugar to make Panang Curry... It did the job, but...
I love that it comes in approximately tablespoon rounds, however, I expected them to be just a bit softer and easier to melt/blend into the recipe. I found that I had to use a large surface kitchen tool to basically "hammer" them in the pan, to get them to break apart enough to melt. Other than that, they worked just fine. As soon as I was able to break them up, they melted/blended easily. I would buy them again, just for the super ease of no measuring required. Knowing what I know now, I would probably pop them into my little chopper to get them started with the melting process.

Excellent product
Delicious sugar. This is the only sugar I use for Thai cooking. Its flavor is rich and complex. I grate it into the recipe.

Perfect palm sugar
It is what it says it is and is perfect for Thai cooking as it is from Thailand. The pieces are roughly 1 oz in weight so it is easy to visually gauge how much you need per recipe. I use it for pad thai and larb gai.
