Shoe Toebox Toeburst Blowout Hole Prevention Repair Inserts/Patches (Grey)

Bought a pair of sneakers and within two months the top of the toe was starting to show wear from the inside. The sneakers fit well and were so comfortable but they just didn't hold up. $93 down the drain???Figured it was worth trying to stick these adhesive patches on the inside to try to save the sneakers.They work really well! After over eight months of almost daily wear the patches are still completely adhered and show no wear. Then I put a patch inside other sneaker, too, so it was protected and it never showed any wear.First, it was a bit tricky getting the patches cut to the correct size (they are HUGE and each one can do several sneakers if you only have to protect the big-toe area) so I recommend figuring out what you need with a scrap of paper before cutting the actual patch.After that it took two tries to get the patch stuck to the right spot. That glue sticks IMMEDIATELY to whatever it touches: fingers, shoe laces, etc. So unlace the shoe completely and go slowly and you will do fine. I ended up practicing how to position it with my paper template a bit before going in the second time. Worked for me.Highly recommended!

This product, when in place, is great, but the adhesive seems to give out, with warmer temps or a longer day in the shoe. Before I put my OnCloud’s on, I have to reapply part of the toe protector in its place. One time, each of them, in each shoe, nearly came off with my sock. We need to bump up the adhesive and I think we’ll be set. When in place, though, it serves its purpose beautifully.

I lift my big toe when I walk so I always damage the tops of my shoes. These are awesome and really great for Hey Dudes! I wear a size 7 in Hey Dudes and I can get one pair of shoes covered by cutting one patch in half. So for the 4 pack of patches I can fix 4 pairs of shoes! They are easy to cut, feel almost like the shoes themselves, and stick really well. Like others said, you need to be patient and take your time placing them but the results have been great! I made a template out of my first pair and then used that to cut other patches. When I wore the shoes I couldn't even tell it was different. Hopefully they will hold up in the long run, but based on trying them I really think they will. I have not washed the shoes with the patches on so I cannot speak to how they would hold up through that. I put the little no show socks over the removable insoles, so I won't be washing the shoes very often. I plan on using these on other shoes and highly recommend this product.

I had a really hard time placing these into my shoes. I am not sure what the trick is but it was extremely frustrating. They would stick to my fingers and to the shoe before I could even get them in place. I had to take them out and put them back in several times so I am not sure how well they will stay in place.

They fit good in my shoes, and don't make them uncomfortable. My toe was starting to poke through the top of my shoes, and I put these on, and it mended the hole, and it's not making the hole bigger. They were a little hard to get in, and when I took them off the 1st day, my sock stuck to it. Performs how it is supposed to and are durable.

Works as advertised, let's see how long it lasts.

I must curl my toes UP when I walk because my sneakers tend to get holes in the upper portion above my big toe. I made the mistake of taking ONE of my sneakers to the shoemaker to see if he could fix the hole because I really liked that style sneaker that was no longer available. I nearly fainted when I went to pick up the ONE sneaker and he had charged me $60!!! When I saw this repair kit online, I knew I had to try it for the rest of my sneakers, and it certainly did the trick. Super easy to apply and CERTAINLY worth it. There's plenty for multiple pairs of sneakers. What a money saver this turned out to be.
