Dogs love these
I have 2 they keep the dogs busy. They are not heavy but are great quality. The dogs are busy chewing the treats of for a while. They are easy to take apart and clean up.

Brodys favorite treat
This is Brodys favorite treat. We give it to him every night when we have dinner and it keeps him occupied the whole time. No more of the begging that I had been working so tirelessly on. Stress free.

Another great PetSafe product!
This is another in the PetSafe line of products that uses a replaceable rawhide circle to engage your dog. The ball shape in the center is a plus since it can be played with after the two rawhide circles are removed by the dog. Just be sure to tighten the screw on end so that the dog can't loosen it and chew on the threads, making it impossible to use. Great and safe way to satisfy a dog's need to chew and keep them occupied as they do.

Pretty Durable, Treats Get Expensive
I have a 10 month old Lab puppy, 50 pounds, and he is a big time chewer/shredder. He's gotten to a point where he is only interested in a toy if it has a treat (Kong, IQ treat ball, etc) or can be shredded apart (stuffed animals, tennis balls, etc). I was happy to see that this keeps him occupied for 20-30 minutes at a time and I only put one gnawhide treat on it at a time. He usually chews the ends of the bones as well as tries to get the gnawhide off. We have a Med/Lg size (seems to be the perfect size for him) and it takes him just a few minutes to get the actual gnawhide off when he is trying, the rest of the time is spent happily chewing on the ends. My dog usually isn't interested in Nylabones so I was surprised to see him chewing on this so much.I will agree with a couple other reviews:- White nylon bone easily gets chewed up and gets quite sharp. He hasn't had any cuts in his mouth that I've found, but I do have to be careful when unscrewing the ends because of how sharp it is.- It's quite heavy for a toy. My dog loves to get playful and throw toys into the air with his mouth, but this one is a little too heavy for that, and so far he hasn't shows any interest in chewing on the ball in the center. One more downside for me is that the treats can get expensive. So far they are at least $0.50 per gnawhide (they were about $0.80 each at Target) so if you were to use 2 treats at a time like it is meant for, that's at least a $1 a pop. So I've resorted to using this as a special treat every couple of days instead of daily. Also, I asked a vet about the cornstarch ones and they said they highly DO NOT RECOMMEND CORNSTARCH for animals, that dogs can't digest them well, just as they say to avoid dog food that has corn.

Great product
Our little yorkie is very picky with his toys and he loves this. Will look for other similar items.

Love it!!!
I’ve got a 6 month old Corgi that chews EVERYTHING!!! This keeps her 100% occupied. It doesn’t look like much but the design makes it challenging to get the treat and cleans her teeth in the process!!!! Be sure to order an extra bag of refills!!! Highly recommend, in fact I’ve ordered two more from the same Amazon Pet Safe store in different styles and my pet LOVES them all!!!

Design of the toy and the treat rings needs work.
This toy has all the right ideas (screw-in treat ring holder and pleasing / fun shape and action for the dog) but the design of both the toy and the treat rings could easily have been better. I have three dogs with significantly different sized muzzles (poodle x terrier, G. shepherd dog and an Am. pitbull) and all three had no problem maneuvering the bone and removing the treat rings within 15 minutes or less. NOT a very engaging toy for maintaining the hoped-for long term interest level. I even tried doubling up the rings for a tighter fit - no luck. The room between the rubber ball and the hard "bone" ends should be about an inch shorter on both sides to restrict the ability for the dog to get a good solid hold of the treat rings. Once they can grab those, it's all over. The dogs did continue to play with the empty toy for another few minutes but, presumably when it lost its rawhide treat scent, it was basically ignored. There are a couple things I am going to try and if successful, I'll report back here. The treat rings should be made of a less-destructible material. They appear to be composed of a flexible, ground-up rawhide material that can be torn up way too easily. Now, I assume the manufacturer does this to increase the purchase rate of treat ring refills but the only effect it's having on this customer is that I won't be buying them anymore. I am going in search of a flat, reinforced, dog-palatable material that I can cut into ring shapes myself. I'm thinking maybe pig ears or flip chips or even leather.....THEN, we'll have an engaging toy on our hands!UPDATE: added pics of the modified toy using rawhide flip chips with holes cut in them to slip onto bone. Lasts ten x longer!

Dogs love it
Has a smaller one like this for my yorkie. My puppy (who is already bigger than my york), and my yorkie would fight over this toy. Found it in a bigger size on Amazon. Best purchase! Furry babies don't fight over it. Also my puppy was in the process of destroying the smaller one. Getting the right size for your dog is important!
