Hot Toys Marvel Venom 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure

Who or what is Jeb!? First, I need to remind people this is a collectible and not necessarily a toy. If you want a toy for a kid to play with, go to a retail store and pick one up for $10. This is the best and highest quality Venom 1/6 scale made. The detail is amazing, the skin is life like, the box is even extremely cool to look at, and it's simply a perfect example of what any Venom collector would need for his or her collection. These can be meant for display, IF you decide to remove it from the packaging. You are no longer a collector at that point and the value decreases. I understand the urge to open up and play with. I understand wanting to open it up to display it as a center piece or even just an add on to an existing display scene. What I don't understand is why you would pay a high premium price to do this. These are limited and serious collectors enjoy the feeling of an unopend piece. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy when I see people open up rare items that I also own. It makes the value of mine increase every time it's done. That being said, if you can do so happily and have the extra money lying around to buy expensive items for the simple enjoyment of ruining the value then have at it. I wish I was at that level financially. There is a reason it comes with an eye catching display box, there is a reason you can open the cover of the display box, there is a reason the packaging is clear so you can see exactly what you bought, and there is a reason it's all packaged nicely. You can enjoy it without opening it! Another point I need to make for any unexperienced collectors or buyers, IS, be careful where you buy these. They are made over seas, and those same factories sometimes have disgruntled workers, and those workers sometimes have access to molds, packaging, and paint supplies used to make these that are left over after the edition size is completed. They will clearly like to profit personally and make more to sell with lower standards and quality. When someone has a large supply of item but was stated as "1 per customer" due to the limited production, then tread very carefully. I hope this has helped new and even highly experienced collectors. Bought this item for my son... He saved half of the money for it and I put in the differenceWe paid $600 plus for it. The Venom figure is very heavy. The stand is a lightweight plastic with a thin plastic pole to hold the figure upright. The figure is not fully supported and always falling.One of the tentacles broke off. I cannot believe we spent this much money for it.CAN THIS ITEM BE REPLACED?
