YakimaRecovery Track Mount, Heavy-Duty Mount for Recovery Tracks

Originally has my traction boards mounted inside a roof top safari basket, but then decided to go with a cargo box instead. This left me with the task of figuring out how to mount and secure my traction boards to my roof. These mounts can be mounted vertical or horizontal so you can secure them on the side of your setup or on your crossbars like I’ve done. The mounts utilize the t-slots on your crossbars which gives them a sturdy and secure fit. I’ve driven over 1k miles since originally installing these on my roof rack and have had no problems with them since. Keeps the traction boards secure without the worry of losing your equipment while driving. Definitely worth their weight in gold.

UPDATE: I was contacted by the seller and to my surprise they went above and beyond to address the issue I experienced. You just don't see that anymore and for that reason I have updated my overall rating. Customer Service rating 5-Stars!Original Review: My biggest criticism is that this mount was only designed with Maxtrax in mind. It should be clearly stated these are not “universal”. I have a different brand and managed to make it work but it did require modifications on my traction pads.

They worked well and bolted right on to my yakima rack system. They would have been 5 starts but my matts didn't lock into them but still secured nicely. The matts I own were not on the list of matts it fit but with the pull straps it held the matts just the same with no loosing for over 10k miles and counting.
