This basket is so cute! I ordered the medium hyacinth basket as a toy box for my toy obsessed cattledog/pit. I should have ordered the large, but I underestimated the size and number of his toys. My fault.There is NO LID. This isn’t a deal breaker for me at all (seriously, this thing is adorable and well made), but I was expecting it to come with one based on an answer to a question below the listing. I went back and read the listing and there is conflicting information. Under the description tab it says it’s an open-face design while under the list of products that describes their baskets with a picture of the hyacinth basket it says securely latching lid. Would be nice if it was more clear. Not worth losing a star over.

I really like this basket to keep our dog's toys in in our kitchen. Prior to getting it, there was no place for the toys to be stored that was convenient for her. The obvious problem with this item is that many dogs will chew it and it won't last at all. On day one our dog, a 5 month rescue puppy started to work on the bottom. We stopped this and I got some Alum (usually sold where spices are, or maybe here on Amazon) and made a paste and brushed it onto the bottom of the basket. Alum is the most bitter substance in the world. She attempted it again and hasn't been back for a bite ever since. (Alum is what is in a styptic pencil or styptic powder used to stop bleeding too. Old fashioned maybe and used for canker sores, so not toxic) Anyway since it is likely you will use this basket for pet toys and likely that most dogs will give it a go, I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise I would certainly 5 star this because it is cute, well made, pretty sturdy and does the job. I had the Hyacinth one in a lighter color-no lid.

I love this pet toy basket. We finally have a standard place to put all the toys at night! This makes waking up to a clutter free living are a plus in the morning! Plus we now know our dogs favorite toys because he always takes them out first- kind of cute!

I got a beautiful new puppy in January and got her this toy basket. I love it, it's nice and adorable in the wicker bone shape. There is a problem though. My puppy loves to break pieces off and at this rate she will destroy it. So, the only thing I could do was put it away and put her toys in a cheap plastic holder. Someday I will bring it out again, when she matures. And by the way, I did spray it with chew deterrent, and it failed miserably. Great for older puppies and dogs, not so good for the little ones (8 weeks to 6 months).

Bought this for dog toys and it works great, looks cute too! But my dogs do eat the wicker sometimes and thats sort of annoying. Depending on your dog, may work great!
