Great pedals at a great price…
I bought look Keo carbon blade pedals several months back. I’ve been using them since then. While the bearings started to loosen up some so they would “hang” at the right angle, clipping in was still cumbersome. The metal plate on top of the pedal body had a slot cut out and it had sharp edges. The cleat could catch on that preventing a smooth engagement. I would typically have to ride several meters out of the intersection so I could attempt to clip in again. I’ve used look pedals since they first came out so this is not operator error. It’s just bad manufacturing and/or pedal design.Enter the TIME xpresso pedal. These are my first non look pedals since forever and they are fantastic! I went from a 50% look, clip in success rate to a 90% clip in success rate on the first day of using these xpresso pedals and the pedals weren’t even broken in yet..It is like horseshoes and hand grenades, as long as you’re close, you’ll get it. These weigh less than the Keo blades yet have a larger pedal platform and stepping in doesn’t take much effort. They hold you in and have float just like the Look pedals. The cleats are a little bigger but that’s fine as this is not made for walking. In my opinion, Look has gotten worse over the years. They have become more expensive yet functionality and quality has diminished. If you’re a long time Look user, and you’re looking for better pedals, try TIME pedals. My only regret is that I didn’t try these sooner. These are really great pedals.

Fantastic Pedals
These pedals are so easy to get clipped in and release it is fantastic. The easy way of getting the toe section in the pedals and just a light press and you feel a click. Exit just a twist of your foot and you are out. I have have had several other brands of pedals and these are by far the best road pedals I have used. You really feel the platform below the pedal too.

En el punto 3 de agarre, queda algo suelto el pie, para sacar el pie toca un movimiento muy largo al exterior...

Fantastic pedals
Feather light, wide footbed, easy on the knees, great looking, carbon blade tension. Very easy to engage. It took almost 1/2 pound off the weight of my old Time Impact pedals, and a much improved product.

Power evenly distributed
Though I ride road bike I’ve been using MTB cleats and pedals. I changed it to this one and I can feel an increase in efficiency.

Not what I hoped
Update November 19, 2024: After a few months of riding with these pedals I would not change anything I said in my original review. I would only add that the tension adjustment screws are made of soft plastic and quickly become impossible to adjust as they wear. The tension is now permanent on mine because the slots for a screwdriver are too rounded off to turn them anymore. I can't recommend these.Once clipped in and riding on these pedals, the experience is great--it's a very solid, smooth feel. Unfortunately, my experience clipping in and out of these pedals is less positive.I frequently find that I have managed to clip in without hearing or feeling any feedback--I pull up on the pedal and find that my cleat is, in fact, attached. Other times I find that despite feeling the pedal engage, I am not securely clipped in and my foot will slip off the pedal if I push hard (like when out of the saddle--NOT a pleasant experience). I have adjusted the tension (there are no markings and you can turn the screw infinitely so that's not as straightforward as it seems), which doesn't seem to affect clipping IN, although it certainly affects clipping out.Unclipping is on/off. That is, you can't start to pivot your heel out when slowing and then pull back in (if a light turns green, for example) the way you can with Look and Shimano pedals. Once you're out you have to start over clipping in. As I mentioned, I have adjusted the tension and it doesn't seem to affect this aspect.I would say that I successfully clip in without looking down about twice as often as I used to with Look pedals--just stomp down and go. I would also say that I miss completely or am unsure if I've clipped in about 10 times more often.99% of the time the type of riding I do doesn't require frequent clipping and unclipping and the feel of these pedals IS better than my Look pedals (where I experience quite a bit of play when clipped in). I'm going to keep these for that reason. Maybe they'll break in or I'll acclimate to them over time. If I'm still not happy by the time the cleats wear out, I'll probably go back to my Look pedals.
