Convenient, effective, comfortable, affordable - the kind eye doctors give out
you can't beat this price - they say it protects from UV - I really like shades in the sun so I carry this in my wallet in case I forget my regular sunglasses - great for travel too.Fine seller - arrived fast. Thanks!UPDATE: months later - I just ordered a second pack. I see the critical review and want to say this: Look at the PRICE. Consider the convenience. I have never seen any kind that has cords - not sure what that gentleman means. This is the kind opthalmologists give you after you have had dilating drops - with the UV protection, the portability, the comfort - I don't understand what possible problem you could have with these. I don't think they are meant to be permanent - they do eventually get a little battered but that is why for such a cheap price you just keep a few on hand. They are not meant to be stylish - if you are looking for permanent attractive sunglasses, that is a different category. These come rolled up in individual paper wrap so you can keep them in a pocket, purse, glove compartment, carry-on or suitcase, and you pull one out in a pinch. I wear one under my prescription glasses. I don't think they go over prescription glasses; they seem to fit under/insider them. I can feel that they are on, but they are not uncomfortable. I would say to the other reviewer to manage one's expectations here. I consider them a substitute for regular sunglasses, and in a pinch, I am really grateful to have them! In fact, I have even worn them under sunglasses in particular sunny beach areas. This more recent set I got does feel darker and more secure - price went up a little bit, yet still a good bargain!

Cheap, portable, works well, even UNDER prescription glasses
I usually use over-the-glasses type of shades. Prescription sunglasses get pricey and after losing a few clip on shades, I tried these out. They actually work and give you ''the matrix'' look. People can still see your eyes with these on. The tint is dark enough to help under bright sunlight but still let you see when you move into shaded areas. Sweat and condensation can collect at contact points with your skin/face but surprisingly didn't slip off during a game of football in the summer. The shades naturally revert to its tube form when not in use. They can get scratched easily so avoid making adjustments with dirty/oily hands. My glasses could still go over them and I use these for football games. My only complaint? They're hard to keep clean. Oils from your face and fingers get on these really easily and obstruct vision after a while. It's hard to wipe clean because it always rolls back up into a tube.It is possible to use all three at once and rip one away as you need. If the sun or another bright source of light is behind you, the shades can reflect the light and act like a mirror. You can fix this by pressing down on those sections or adjusting the pitch at which the rollup shade rests against your face. Pressing on the shades removes the surface reflecting the light while adjusting the angle of the shades bounces the light away from your peripheral vision.I WISH they made these with more options like colors, opacity levels, and shapes. The novelty factor overrides the dorky shape but you really need to get some sort of satin/silk/microfiber Michael-jackson-glove to be a smooth operator

A Driving Essential
Fit nicely behind my prescription glasses. Excellent at keeping all glare out. Some people may find that the pinch points at the far right and left contact area is annoying.I am not bothered by it, and I am usually sensitive to such things. However, I would suggest to the manufacturer to design a LOWER tension wrap around for use with glasses. The pinch points could be eliminated completely. These are very handy to have in the car to slip behind your glasses, making for a more pleasant driving experience.Would also be very handy for any Heavy Equipment Operator who wore prescription glasses.

They're free from your eye doctor
I bought these for some unknown reason and they're the kind that's free from your eye doctor if you get the eye drops that dilate your pupils. I've heard they don't do that anymore, but still, free eye roll-ups.They work great, they press lightly against your temples to hold on and after a few minutes you can't feel them anymore. If you move your face too much, they do wiggle loose. I use them driving because I don't do many expressions behind the wheel. These are not Z87 safety compliant, they are just thin plastic and will melt to your eyeballs in unsafe conditions like welding and dragon dentistry. Dragon dentists don't need these to be cool, you're a freakin' dragon dentist, deal with it.

Touchy..
A bit difficult at times to get them comfortable and to stay in place, but, I now keep them in a container in my bag in case I forget the big guys when I go out, then they come in really handy.
