Great tea
I have tried a lot of different black teas and recently started drinking decaf.I was skeptical this tea would be good because I have had a lot of not so good ones.First I liked that the tea bags are not individually packaged and just came in a cardboard box.Much better for the environment than other tea bags. The flavor of the tea was very good. Malty and mellow with no astringency or off putting floral tones.I have only drank one cup but think this will be my new go to tea.

Love this quality tea
This is a mild rich brown decaf tea that is in my opinion the epitome of brown tea flavor without the caffeine hit, that I appreciate in my morning coffees but don’t want that later in the day. The quality is such that a teabag gives you two generous cups or rich tasting tea. I have experienced many normal grocery store varieties and have seen quality decline in the past years. When you buy Barry’s you feel like that original thrill of the brown tea. I like it plain or with a tiny wisp of sugar and milk for variation.

Lovely cuppa
I bought these for a friend who has to avoid caffeine, but to be sure these bags were good, she made a pot of this tea. I could not tell the difference between this tea and the regular Barry’s Breakfast tea. Nothing is as perfect as tea made from leaves without the paper bags, but for convenience, travel, and health (if you have restrictions), this is excellent.

Delicious tea, delivered on-time, crushed package
A delicious tea and it arrived on-time. It was delivered nicely (handed directly to me) by the Amazon delivery person. But somewhere, the shipping bag (not box) it was in was crushed enough to cause a few tea bags to break open. This is not a typical problem as I've ordered and received this product from this shipper several times and have not had this issue.

A really good decaf tea
I drink both caf and decaf black tea, but more decaf. Have you been dissatisfied with your decaf tea? Well, Barry's is a really good, very tasty, and reasonably priced decaf.Decaf tea from the US is absolutely tasteless, or kind of gross tasting, like water with some kind of strange flavoring. My suggestion? Order some "real" tea from Amazon (or any other outlet). Just make sure it's from the UK, Ireland, Scotland, etc. Really, any decaf--even most supermarket brands--will make you very happy, and let you get your sleep. I can't think of a single UK decaf tea that hasn't been a 4 - 5 star on the taste scale.I prefer a really strong, black decaf, where I can add milk and a wee bit of sugar. I highly recommend Thompson's (excellent value & my current favor); Barry's (very good value), English Tea Store (often in stock at TJ Maxx, & Marshall's at an excellent price). Also: Bewley's, Marks & Spencer, Yorkshire, Clipper organic (very good, a tad pricey). I'm not crazy about Builder's decaf (ironic!) or Typhoo and P&G--both are a bit too strong, and tannic, for me. But really, any made-in-England (Ireland, etc.) will do you fine, Even better, go to the UK and pick some up at any grocery store. It's a good excuse to get out of the house.
