Should be a requirement for household plumbing!
Permanently installed for my household water pressure and working great. I have mine mounted in my garage near the hot water heater. I learned the hard way that it is important to monitor city water pressure when you have a pressure reducing valve installed. My water pressure shot up to 140 psi and pretty much ruined my old water heater over time. I suspect the pressure has been this way for the past 5 years which is when we bought the house. The PRV is supposed to regulate the pressure but mine was shot. Now, I not only have a new PRV and hot water heater but I added a much needed expansion tank as well. I have my PRV adjusted for 70 psi and the system is working great. And I know that because of this wonderful pressure gauge! You can buy the temp units at the big box store (or here) but I like seeing mine everyday. The fluid filled gauge should bring years of reliability.

Major upgrade for pool filter gauge at 1/3 the price
I bought this to replace the broken gauge in my Jandy CL pool filter. The replacement Jandy unit is plastic and cheap and costs over $30. This gauge is all metal, oil filled, and seems to be much better quality.I thought my filters were hanging in there because my broken gauge was stuck at 12 psi. For how long I'm not sure. After installing this I realized I may need to buy new pool filters. A broken pressure gauge concealing bad filters can lead to broken pool pumps, exploding filter housings, and o rings. One thing to consider is that I had to grind off about a 1/2" of the plastic outer gauge housing on the Jandy to get this new gauge to screw all the way in. It took 30 seconds with a grinder. If you don't want to to do this you can buy an adapter like this: https://www.amazon.com/Dixon-D344R-Fitting-Swivel-Pressure/dp/B00835RQBU/ref=sr_1_28?crid=3VVHKSL60EF8T&keywords=1%2F4+npt+male+to+1%2F4+npt+female&qid=1561590419&s=industrial&sprefix=1%2F4%22+npt+male+to+1%2F4%22+npt+female%2Cindustrial%2C152&sr=1-28With this you'll be all set.

Saved $65 going with this gauge over OEM version
So far so good. Bought this gauge to replace a broken one on my 1965 Case 530CK tractor. Dealer wanted $80 for the OEM replacement. Saved a lot of money with this one. Had to buy a couple dollars worth of fittings to adapt to the connection on the tractor, but still saved a lot of money. Just installed a few days ago, and so far it works very well. Will see ho well it holds up.

Works fantastic!
Used this as a replacement on my pool filter. Works as described - and is ROCK SOLID! My old gauge was inaccurate and flipped around so you had to guestimate the reading (Although it was 20 years old...) . This gauge is heavy, solid and delivers a clear reading even from 10 feet away. I am no gauge expert, but I would highly recommend this to anyone - I'm very pleased with mine.Pros:Easy to read from a distanceholds values well, does not flip around wildlyvery solid - I was expecting a flimsy product for this price and was pleasantly surprisedthe cost - for this money, I don't think you'll get a better gauge.Cons:none - I can't say a bad thing about this gauge!

Overkill but Nice
I bought this gauge to replace the tiny one what came with my airbrush pressure regulator. Strictly speaking, it's a bit big for this application - however, it's much easier for me to read from a normal working distance. The liquid filling does keep the needle from bouncing when the air compressor runs; apart from that, I don't have much use for it. Overall, this seems to be a high-quality piece of kit and I'm glad I bought it.

Oil filled .. 2 Pound Increments
Looks to be a fine instrument .. gonna buy 3 more of the the normal "stand-up" vertically installed configuration, to change out from the common "building supply" offerings currently in service. The oil dampens pump pulses, and a heck of a lot easier to read more accurately. Two will go to measure the pressure differential across a 20 micron whole-house sediment input filter cartridge.

Leaks
I’m not impressed. This is not the first oil filled gauge I’ve owned but it’s the first to leak oil all over before being installed. We’ll see if it even works. If it is just an orientation thing and otherwise works it may still be a good value for the money. I’ll probably check it against another higher quality gauge to check accuracy.

Gage is fine customer service really shines!
Works greatUsing it with my freeze dryer unit to monitor vacuum.Oil filles is always the best way to go.Do not need a calibrated gage or an expensive electronic gageThere was an issue with my gage and I need to say even though it was partly my fault they replaced the gage.A note to other customers if the gage has a small brass plug and you need to pull this to zero the gage (pressure differential) do not remove the small brass plug just pull it up a little and when you press it back be careful not to push the black elastomer plug too hard or it can pop into the gage.TOP QUALITY CUSTOMER service really stands out here above everything.
