These are not shiny as shown. They are sharp but don't move smoothly. I would certainly not state that they were medical grade at all. They appear used. Would never order again.

nice scissors, sharp and sturdy

These scissors seem sturdy and sharp for my purpose... mainly cutting little bits of fabric for applique. They are easy to pack in a travel kit, and not too costly to replace when they go missing. I have every reason to expect they will go missing, most likely due to my own absentmindedness..or thievery. You can explain scissor protocol to family, but you can't count on compliance. A few pairs of servicible replacements keeps the shouting down.These little ones are slightly stiff, but I expect they'll loosen up. Otherwise I'll leave them in a high traffic area and hope for the 'worst'.

As advertised, would buy again.
