PapyrusBirthday Card for Husband (Partner in Life)

Really high quality card with a plush velvet feel, my Dad loved it. Downside was the cost, too expensive. It’s a beautiful full size blank card but seriously expensive.

I bought the Papyrus Wonderful Day card with a floral embroidery design. It’s really thick and well made, and it comes with a pretty matching flower lined envelope and sticker. I gave it to my mom with a gift card (she enjoys the sheer act of shopping) for her 91st birthday and she loved it. She commented multiple times during brunch about how it’s such a beautiful card and she hasn’t seen anything like it. She loved the sentiment too. The sentiment was a big reason I chose it as it’s loving but not overly gushy; some cards are too sappy to sound genuine coming from me. It arrived so fast, and it was well protected and in perfect condition. I’m always happy with Papyrus cards. Highly recommend. 5 stars.

This birthday card is even more beautiful in person. I love the embroidered flowers on the card and the gold detail gives it a nice touch. This is a single card with one white envelope and one gold papyrus sealer (sticker). Extra postage is required. I used one non-machinable stamp (yellow butterfly stamp) and that was enough. I sent the card to my sister for her birthday which I'm sure she will love when she receives it. I received the card in one day and it arrived in good condition.

I'm keeping the card, as whoever receives it may just think it was rumpled in shipping. But I don't like the idea of starting out with something that isn't perfect. This is the second time I've experienced this when buying individual cards through Amazon, and I'm wondering if this is why the prices are lower than in the store.
