A well-illustrated basic level introduction to rugby, probably best suited to junior players starting their mini-rugby career. The text is clear and written so a 6-7 year old will be able to read and comprehend. There's a lot of photos, some potted rugby history of recent years especially World Cups, famous players etc. Best are some features covering playing positions and what the various players do.Overall: a recommended book for little players in the mini-rugby age groups.

I don't recognise the picture. But I did buy quite a few books over the Christmas period. My 5 year old Great Grandson has started playing rugby & I know I bought him a rugby book so imagine this is it. He enjoyed reading it with is father.
