I've tried both the Japanese Miso and the Mexican Chili Lime. I wasn't crazy about the Japanese Miso flavor but I really enjoyed the Mexican Chili Lime. The spices are just right and all the ingredients are simple and work well together. In particular, I really enjoyed the pumpkin seeds and thought they were a great choice for the mix of texture and spices that I think they were trying to go for in the Mexican Chili Lime bar. The protein to calories ratio is actually pretty good and I thought one bar was perfectly filling for a snack. They are a little spicy (the kind that lingers a little after you eat it) which I personally enjoyed, so just keep that in mind if you're not into spicy foods. The Mexican Chili Lime flavor is definitely worth trying out!P.S. I had an issue with my order and the seller Gene got back to me really quickly to resolve the issue. Overall positive experience with this company!

I don't normally reach for protein bars because I don't like the chalky and sugary taste of the other brands, so these flavors caught my eye. I'm glad I decided to give these bars a try - they don't taste like a protein bar, more like a snack - it actually reminds me of rice crackers in a way. I liked all of the flavors in the variety pack, but I think my favorite is the Italian Bruschetta (Indian Masala close second). I like that the texture isn't a solid dense block, but easy to break up and snack on while I'm multi-tasking. I hope they come out with more flavors to try, I feel like these are going to replace my other snacks while still being relatively healthy.I saw some other reviews say their bars were crumbly but I didn't have that issue with mine. When my bars arrived, they were a bit soft and reminded me of rice crispie treats actually.

Did this title get your attention?! I hope so. Afar Savory Protein Bars are similar to Rice Krispies, but in the savory version with an extra dose of protein. I am not a huge fan of sweet snacks. We have too many sweet snacks out there. I enjoyed trying out each flavor because each flavor took me to each country's cuisine adventure. It is such a wonderful savory snack for hiking, camping, after school sports games, and of course, workplace whenever you need a quick fix.I should give you a warning. Do not place yourself next to your printer whenever you snack an Afar Savory Protein Bar. This product can get messy. This product can cause serious damage to your printer. I gotta replace my printer soon, so I had to remove 1 star for the product not being firm together. In the other words, they tore apart on their own like crumbles. After this incident with my very first time Afar Savory Protein Bar, I had to use a bowl and spoon every time I wanted to eat the next one.Officially, this product has a new special place in my dear heart. I would love to subscribe to Afar Savory Protein Bars for my work as soon as they are available for "Subscribe and Save.' Yum! I would highly recommend them for people who just love snacks, especially savory.

I was excited to try these bars. The flavors sounded very interesting and I like the idea that they were not so much sweet as savory. However, I think they don’t taste good at all. Even my bird won’t eat them!

I liked that these are different flavor from the usual flavors out there. but it is not delicious and cravable. so I may or may not order these again. I want to like them as I do like the brand and story of the brand.

These savory protein bars are a great change of pace from the usual sickly sweet protein bars I had in the past. They are light and easy to eat. The taste is pretty good and flavors are unique.

Wanted to try something new and ordered the Afar bars. I appreciated the variety pack as all the flavors sounded interesting so could try a few before committing to a full 8 pack of one flavor. The bars were convenient to pack for hikes, flights, and when running around Disney all day. I liked the flavors and consistency, they’re like a savory rice krispy treat but minus the sugar/stickness. It doesn’t melt in your backpack like the bars with chocolate, peanut butter, or caramel so it was great for travel. Would repurchase again!

I've been looking for a clean ingredients protein bar with low sugar and was curious to try this one out. It's very different from the typical protein bars with savory flavors and a crispy texture but I love it. They're also quite filling as a pre workout or afternoon snack. Pesonally I don't find these bars dry but if you're used to the densee sweet types, I can see why some people might feel that way.
