Chair Cane Medium 3mm 1000 ft Coil with 4 Strands of 4mm Binder Cane

This ended up not being the cane size I was needing but I will still find a use for it. Came in good varrying lengths and delivery was good. Just be sure to research exactly what size cane you need first.

Eveness of product made easy work when recaning a few chairs.

Let me preface this by saying that I understand this is a natural product and there will be some variances. Also, I know that when you get to the end of a run, you have the "leftovers" and I think that is what this was. Most of the canes were short 0 around 3 1/2 to 4 feet. They were varied in width and thickness - some wide some narrow and some thin. Many broke while weaving, and that was after checking for defects. Those that did that just separated and came apart. I also came up short. It was supposed to be enough for 4 chairs. I did 3 chairs (13" round woven area) and ran out just after starting the 4th chair. I contacted the supplier and they replaced the product and it was day and night difference between the two. The problem I have here was with the product and not the supplier. They did me right.

I’m almost done with my project and am highly disappointed in the quality of this product. The strands do break easily. I soak for 20 minutes and keep the strands moist throughout the weaving process yet nearly every strand breaks. Some even break before the first line is complete. Once the initial soak is complete I run my hand along the strand and can almost immediately tell where the strand will break. Unfortunately I ordered more cane from this supplier and will be returning before I even begin the next t project.

Even after soaking, some of the cane broke easily.
