Excellent down: great for repairs, upgrades and more
The down is clean, featherless and appears to live up to its claim of 700 fill power (700 cubic inches per ounce). I'm delighted with it. I have used three 12-ounce bags of this product on four different craft projects: restoring oomph to an old down pillow, increasing the loft of two sleeping bags, and building a foot box for a down quilt. Before you order this, be sure that you have a plan for how you will transfer the down from the large cotton sack in which it is shipped (much like a pillow) into your object. A web search for "how to transfer goose down" leads to a variety of very useful text and videos. Let me describe my journey along this interesting road.My first project was restoring a pillow, and my plan was to move handfuls of down from the sack into the pillow with an opened seam. Fortunately I did this in the backyard, and the snow a couple days later hid the huge piles of down that had blown away. Moving down by the handful does not work for me.My next approach was to compress the bag of down as much as possible, then immerse it in water to soak it. I could then move the wet down in clumps into the tubes of a sleeping bag. I later dried the drenched sleeping bag in several hours of very low heat in my home dryer. Then I dried the wet down that I hadn't (yet) used.My current approach is to use a toilet paper roll as a container to transfer about half an ounce of down. I hold it in my right hand, and slowly move it into the bag. I then use my left hand to hold the bag closed around my wrist, while my right fingers stuff down into the cardboard tube. I remove it from the bag, and carefully place it into the tube where I empty it by pushing the down out with my fingers. I repeat this as many times as necessary, then sew the tube shut. This is my current method of choice for dealing with this very large bag of goose down.Good luck, have fun, and enjoy your fluffy down gear!

OIutstanding quality and genuine down (unlike 95% of products marketed as "down", even on Amazon).
After being defrauded on numerous prior "down" (usually synthetic or frequently mostly feathers) product purchases, even on MOST Amazon purchases, it was refreshing to obtain real 100% down to easily make my own pillows at the loft of my choice. This down is clean, white, odor-free, with no feathers, and 3/4 lbs. was sufficient to fill two pillows in 15 minutes with very minimal clean-up (a few particles floated into the air but mini-vacuumed easily). Please buy your own down and displace the prolific fraudsters selling fake "down" on Amazon and elsewhere.

CLEAN, Soft and Fluffy !
Can use it to make your own pillow with the firmness you desire ! This was the perfect amount for my pillow. NO FEATHERS, all nice soft down !!!!!! ------------- CLEAN, SOFT, and FLUFFY !!!!!!----------------To construct will little mess: First sew your case and leave a fist sized hole (on corner side of top seam) to insert the feathers. Then make a funnel from packing paper, (24"wide) with a fist sized opening at bottom and about a 16" opening at the top. (use packing tape to secure edges, especially inside the funnel - so it holds it shape - and so no feathers get stuck in the edges). Then pin the funnel to the case, with the funnel in about 6 ", and fabric on the outside. Transfer the down into the funnel, and use a yardstick or ruler to push it down the hole. (Static will cause the down to stick to your hands and arms - causing a mess - but they won't stick to a ruler.) When you grab the down, hold tight and move slow, that way a slight breeze won't blow the static charged particles off of your hand. I did mine in the house with no mess and no floaters at all. I did take it outside when I removed the funnel because a few feathers wanted to stay in there. Pin the hole shut while you are outside, and whatever you do, DON'T squeeze the case or feathers will poof-out everywhere ! Just hold it from around the top hole while you pin it. Sew it shut and enjoy a great nights' sleep !!! Hope my tips help you. LOVED this product, and this Seller is AMAZING as well !

Good product but the title might be misleading
I'm not down expert but "no feathers" probably isn't entirely true. There were non-negligible amounts of quills in the two batches I ordered. Most of them were quite small but I certainly didn't receive 100% 'undetectable quill' cluster down. Some of the quills were big enough that I'm almost certain they would have qualified under most reasonable standards as "feathers".Still, it's a fine product as long as you're willing to accept that.

STUFF YOUR ITEMS OUTSIDE! Tips for use in review!
I bought two bags of this to refresh an old down pillow and other than it being an INCREDIBLE mess to work with, the down itself was top notch. It was soft, clean and fluffy with absolutely no feathers. I also liked the bag it came in. It could easily be stuffed to use as a throw pillow insert. I definitely suggest waiting until a nice day with NO wind to stuff whatever item you’re using it for. I put my old pillowcase and the bag of down in an extra large trash bag, put my hand in and then pulled the closure tight around my wrist. I then reached into the bag, grabbed a handful of down as tight as I could and transferred it to the pillowcase. Down STILL managed to escape from the trash bag so doing this inside is a no go! Also keep some anti-static laundry spray and a box of fabric softener sheets close by. After you’ve gotten all the down you can out of the bag, the spray and sheets will help you get the remaining down off of the bag and the interior of the trash bag- and yourself since chances are good you’ll have a ton of down sticking to you haha! It seems like a lot of work but I couldn’t be happier with my “new” pillow. A lovely firm yet fluffy queen sized 100% down pillow for half the price!

This down is awesome quality!!!
The down is top quality, you can't find any better !! I filled my own pillow , to the exact personal fullness I wanted !! And its like a dream to sleep on the softness is like heaven !! Take my advice , fill outside , and place your old pillow and the bag of down , in a large trash bag and transfer down into your pillow to a very small opening you have opened at the seam, very slowly and carefully, and viola you have a brand new down pillow !!
