Brilliantly written and brings our beliefs to live!
Seeing Jesus is brilliantly written. The stories are captivating. They get better and better as you read on. For Christians, the book brings our beliefs to life and strengthens our confidence. The fictional stories makes you want to talk to Jesus everyday and have Him be your best friend who you can find comfort, warmth, support and guidance in. These stories make you want to take a step of faith to reach out to someone and heal them both physically and emotionally. The stories tell you how to heal, how to listen to Jesus, how to deliver someone and what to expect. For new believers and non-believers, this book is a vivid illustration of who Jesus really is and how He really relates to us. It explains some of the things you read in the bible using stories you and I can relate. This book is fiction but yet it feels like it is full of real life stories as it seems I have seen and heard these stories somewhere and sometime in my journey as a Christian. This book makes me wonder all the events happening in my life and all the people that comes to my life are directed and sent by Jesus. They are in my life for a reason. It just makes everything suddenly more meaningful and cherishable. It makes me want to go through my daily life with attention that I may be there for an assignment that Jesus gave me. To me Jesus is really the main character of this book. Jesus is God but He is so human, full of humor and He cares and loves us no matter who we are and where we have been.Great job, Jeffrey!

Seeing Jesus
This is a great book for anyone, no matter where you are on your faith journey. Jesus meets you where you are. I loved how Jesus took his time with Philly and so encouraging. What a blessing this story was.

Cute story, light read, enjoyable
A light, enjoyable book about a sociably uncomfortable single computer geek named Philly who suddenly begins to experience Jesus as a visible person - though no one else can see Him. Slowly Jesus brings Philly out of his shell, helps him deal with some personal issues, and teaches him how to heal others through prayer. While not a heavily theological book, it does contain some good basic Christian ideals. There are some rather humorous sections as well as some poignant ones but nothing terribly deep or overly dramatic. The pace of the book is fairly slow and some may consider it plodding but the main focus of the story is the slow transformation of Philly and his growing relationship with Jesus. For those who prefer a fast paced read with a lot of action this may not be the best choice for you but if you are interested in a story about interior conversion and learning to step out in faith, this fits the bill. The only criticism I would offer is the story's subtle implication that organized religion has often missed the mark. As a practicing Catholic I was mildly bothered by that sentiment but took it with a grain of salt and didn't let it ruin the book. A worthwhile read.

a Great Surprise
The story telling was an easy read, with sorrow in dark places then a glimmer of light. Then as the journey continues the peeling of layers until the blossoms bloom. Excellent story and I don’t want to reveal anything because the title says it all. Worth the time to read, chapter by chapter and the feeling at the end is what faith, hope and love is deep inside us all when we shut down the noise of ourselves.
