Works, instructions suck
Instructions are pretty vague as to where the orange wire is supposed to go. The red and black are self-explanatory and the green goes to your sending unit but the orange is supposed to be for illuminating the gauge but it already is illuminated when it's on so I really don't get it.

Looks and works great! Easy to install.
Installed in my boat to monitor fuel in my 100 gal fuel tank using a Reed sending unit that matched the ohms in the gauge. Easy to install in dash. Electronic hook up also easy following instructions.

No instructions
The ORANGE wire will dim the gauge when connected to +12V. If you would rather it stay at maximum brightness, attach it to ground. If you would like the gauge to dim when you turn on your headlights, attach the ORANGE wire to your headlight switch.

Doesn’t work well
I installed this on my pickup with a half a tank. The gauge was showing it was 94% full. And when I drove it jumped from 80 to 100. Didn’t give an accurate reading

Clean styling, good value
Initial impression is very impressed. Hooked up to a new fuel sending unit on bench test. Looks great and seems to be good quality. Can’t wait to get it installed and in the water.
