We'll see how well they stand up to UV and weather, but so-far they are holding up two months in. Very heavy, and the powder coat finish is high quality.

do not think I'll use them

I ordered the red ones, look nice on the Jeep. Very thick. Don’t know if I would use them for lifting with a crane but for vehicle rescue they are much more than you would ever need. Good buy

I bought these after seeing reviews of the color fading over time and thought I'd give them a shot, and I'm glad I did. These have been great since I've purchased them, I haven't had any issues with the finish fading. The only thing I wish was better was the durability of the finish, where the shackle rubs on my bumper it's starting to come off but that's to be expected when it's something painted like this. If you're looking for an inexpensive shackle that can withstand a tow strap, this is a great option to consider!
