Love this!I have tried all self tanning lotions and all of them cause me to break out and itch. I finally found that the DHA in all self tanners were causing the breakouts.I decided to try the DHA free lotion and so far I am good. I have used it for 6 days and no breakout. I have only used it on my legs.

I have a ruddy skin tone, and tan quite dark in the sun with or without SPF lotions, but I am over 60 and concerned about accumulated sun damage. Unfortunately this sunless tanning lotion didn't work for me. Having followed the instructions on the bottle <exactly>, I was very disappointed at the result: This is an expensive "orange-ing" (not "tanning") lotion that does exactly what it purports not to do. Thank goodness I only applied it to my legs to start with, and only a small amount for 3 days. My legs days later my legs are now bright orange ("Trump orange" circa 2016). At least I can wear long pants until it wears off.

I'm olive toned and think I look a little healthier with a bit of color, but I'm also skin care conscience about tanning/laying out, and found out years ago I'm allergic to DHA, so bronzer isn't even an option. Laying out is sortof a pain, since I cover face/neck where I use retinols, get tan lines, and get sweaty/tired.Years ago I found one truly organic bronzer product that actually worked without irritating my skin; however, it's pretty greasy, has a strong odor and glimmer to it, so couldn't be worn to bed, under light clothes, under makeup, etc. It's expensive and such a labor to use I found myself rarely even wanting to do it.I came across this product (which is probably about the cost of one spray tan) and decided to try it. And YES, it definitely works! I went pretty light on the first application but saw streaks on my feet days later where I didn't blend very well (and like the bottle says, nope, this doesn't just wash off). So the good news was, it was working lol, the downside, I had streaky feet for a few days and some blotches here and there.SMELL - it smells like a glazed donut. If you're really conscience about any possible smell, I'd recommend applying this 3-5 days before an event so you get your desired color and are minimizing the scent. If you're using this often, I would say on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being super obvious and stinky, this is a 2 or 3. If you are really sensitive to smells, it may be more for you. After my lotion and perfume, I find it hardly noticeable.APPLICATION - after the Streaky Feet incident, I used a MAC 810 brush to apply a line of product to each general area, and use circling motions to cover and blend. It's impossible to tell when you first apply this if it's even, so doing so with the short soft-haired brush helped eliminate much room for error or embarrassing blotches or streaks.I don't leave product reviews very often, but since this is such a niche market/product, thought it would be helpful to other people who can't/won't use DHA but still want to get a "healthy glow". I also think this is a small business, so hopefully this honest feedback helps as well.No product is 100% perfect in every way for everyone, but I for one have absolutely no skin irritation, can use this on my face and body with no reaction, thought the price is reasonable, and find the color to develop into a nice tanned brown. Try it out and get your glow on!

I was really excited to try this out! I bought the Dark dha free lotion. And from what I read it was a lotion that would slowly build up in color. I applied it only 2 times, 2 nights in a row. 2 days after that last application, I woke up bright orange. I about had a heart attack. This stuff seems to take a few days to develop, and I just didn't expect how bright orange it would become because I took 2 showers since that last application and hadn't put any more on.Since that day I've been trying to scrub it off. I'm on day 7 of scrubbing, and it's still all over my body in dark orange patches. I saw a video that said to use micellor water, and that helped remove the most noticeable patches on my arms and hands, but my legs are still terribly patchy unless I wanna douse myself on micellor water.I was thinking about trying it out again and only doing one application to see how it goes, but I'm scared if it still comes out orange, I'm gonna be stuck with it for over a week again.Be very careful with this tanning lotion.

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PRODUCT 10 STARS I WOULD!!!! I am a 58 year old Irish American allergic to DHA. For years I have suffered through allergic reactions with every product I tried, but this not only smelled wonderful, lasted a week, but NO ALERGIC REACTION!!! Please thank every one of your team members for creating an AMAZING PRODUCT!!!BUYER BE CAREFUL!!! Some of the reviews say the bottle said DHA or they had an allergic reaction. THOSE FOLKS MUST HAVE ORDERED THE ONE WITH DHA. TRIPLE CHECK BEFORE YOU HIT ORDER THAT IT SAYS "DHA FREE" ON THE FRONT OF THE PRODUCT. THEY OFFER DHA PRODUCTS RIGHT NEXT TO THE DHA FREE PRODUCTS SO YOU MAY MISS THAT DETAIL. ENJOY!!!! :)
