The AFP Double Leg Internal Shock Absorbing Lanyard is comprised of heavy duty webbing, designed to diminish the risks of falling or slipping. The tough webbing is highly resistant to abrasion, mildew, aging, and won’t soften from frequent use. This webbing has low shrink properties and a high temperature threshold. Constructed to scale down the impact forces resulting from fall, this Shock Absorbing Lanyard assists workers in effectively moving and position themselves on the job site. The shock absorber is built within the lanyard, making this a lightweight 2 in 1 feature that eliminates the need for a bulky shock pack. This shock absorbing lanyard does not extend pass 6 FT unless impacted by the force of fall and must be used in conjunction with a full body harness. Built tough, to limit fall forces up to 900 lbs. or less. Forged steel connectors are corrosion resistant and have a 3,600 lb. gate strength. The lanyard and its double locking connectors are all ANZI compliant and are easy to use. Meets OSHA and ANSI standards, including the stringent ANSI Z359.1.
