Great product design and easy to install.
This product design is excellent. Due to the way it's made, it will allow a good seal on just about any door even if the door has a slight warp. They have even carefully cut the side peices on the ends so it fits very snugly in the corners. If your door jams are in good shape you should end up with a perfect installation. My wife could not believe how quiet and easy the door opens after I replaced the old weatherstrip with this one. All I can say to the others who stated the door needed to be pushed closed after installing this is, they probably pushed it to tightly up to the door. It just needs to be snug, and not smashed when the door is closed. Here is an install tip. With the door closed, start all the screws with the weatherstrip just touching the door. Start the screws dead center of the screw slots. After all the screws are in place but before tightening them, push the weatherstrip to the door until you feel some slight resistance. Tighten the screws all the way around while doing this. Then take a regular playing card and slide it between the door and the weatherstrip all the way around. The card should stay in place at every point, but not be too difficult to slide in or out. Also if you can see the weatherstrip squeeze on the hinge side, it's too tight. Play around with it until it's just right.Unlike some others that stated the screws were missing, it came with the screws and a couple of extras. The screw tops are painted white. They use a bit too much paint on the screws and it easily chips off. But that is very minor compliant for an otherwise excellent product. My only concern will be how it holds up over time. The one it replaced lasted 22 years. Only time will tell.

Works perfectly
Works as advertised, easy to install. Ancient door was warped with age and had many gaps to let draft in. After a quick installation you can no longer feel a breeze in the other side of the door. Night and day.

Took care of the draft in the winter & kept bugs out in the summer.
I paid $27.50 for this item, which I thought was a bit high, but it looks like I got it about $10.00 cheaper than what it is running at the time of this review. We installed this almost a year ago, and by 'we', I mean my husband. I was being ever so helpful by complaining about how much cold air he was letting in the house during installation :-)The door now has to be shut very hard in order to be completely closed. We had hoped that it would kind of soften over time, but it hasn't. It's worth the inconvenience, though. It's still performing wonderfully. No cold air is coming in for the 2nd winter in a row. In addition, the summer before installing this, we'd had bugs getting in the house. During this year's warm season we had no problem. This kit came with screws, 2 long strips (one for each side of the door) and 1 strip for the top of the door. My husband said it was easy to install, despite our door 'gaps' being uneven (older homes can have their issues, but we love ours anyways). He said that if the gaps had been more even, we likely wouldn't even have the issue of having to shut the door so hard to get complete closure.A little warmer this year and happy with our purchase.

Screws Match
Ítem as described. No issues. Screws that arrived with the items were easy to install. I used a screw driver by hand to install. No need for a drill. Screws were easily installed on pine wood door jamb/frame. What else can I say. Great replacement weather-strip for door with some gaps
My front door had visible gaps due to house settling and drafts were bad in cold, and heat was coming in in summer. The original strip rubber has been painted over, it was very small and now brittle. I could see daylight around some parts of the door. This weather strip was not cheap, but is high quality and solved my problem. It has a large v shaped foam filled insulator that allows flexibility against the door. I like the aluminum backer with screws every few inches to keep it tight. It also has pre-cut corners at the top, the bottoms have to be trim to fit. In application you put against the closed door and lightly press against the door front and screw in. The screw holes are oval for some adjustment. I will note if you place too tight you can impede door closure, so be careful to get it just touching the door. After removing the original strip, plus some poor fix someone did with sticky backed foam, i was able to get the door to sit properly, and now it is sealed nicely and no more drafts coming in. It looks nice too. Highly recommended.

Purchased 3 of these
Fantastic product. I've used this on my basement door which had huge gaps. Then I ended up buying 2 more of these for my patio sliding door to replace the door foam which was completely warped and worn out. This has 100% stopped any air coming in through the sides.

Missing and improper parts
After receiving this item, I found that the top part (metal and foam) did not interlock like the side pieces, 36 screws were missing, and the package had already been opened. I contacted Amazon for a refund.
