I bought this as a gift for my grandson who is 14 and extremely intelligent and into science - he really liked it. I love how it lights up and has some real elements. Highly recommended.

I gave this to my daughter who is an 8th grade science teacher. She likes it but wished the elements were a little easier to see, maybe magnify the glass. Overall great gift for her to use in the classroom.

A little pricey but a nice piece for a science buff or casual collector.

It's an interesting conversation piece for my desk at work, but the quality could be a little better. The samples are small. The gases just look like air bubbles, not that they could look like anything different. There are smaller air bubbles in the solid samples that kind of distract from the sample itself, but it's not terrible. The light works as promised and does what it's supposed to do. This is really just a novelty item and for that purpose it works just fine. I don't know that I'd recommend it to others unless they were specifically interested in it, but for the money I think it's worth it. I'd just wish the quality was a little better. Hope this helps.

This is a very nice acrylic 3D version of the Period Table of the Elements. It is certainly much more fun than a simple paper chart on the wall. The overall layout and presentation is very nice. This is an excellent table top display unit. Great for the classroom. 5 stars.
