My favorite backpack retailer USE to carry this wonderful line of Klean Kanteens...Don't know what happened BUT now all they sell are these water bottles with straws that are merely a avenue to bacteria brewing. Ugh. I was DELIGHTED to find this product on Amazon! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have 3 already from the past 20 years - that's how good they are but needed one more for a different area. I had a Kleen Kanteen when I was younger that got lost over a decade ago. When kidney stones finally motivated me to quit my pop addiction, I quickly realized I needed a good reusable water bottle (and a water filter of some kind) instead of spending money on bottled water. I’m happy to say that this thing is just as well made/high quality as they were when I bought my old one 14 years ago! I’m now more than 6 months clean from pop, only water, occasionally milk and coffee with half & half,, this bottle has been in heavy daily use and it has absolutely stood up to my use and abuse! The top is replaceable, which just makes it that much better in the long run!

Doesn’t leak, color stays on, easy to clean. It’s not insulated so condensation will build on the outside. Worked well for my kids.

Holds up well to sports bags, bookings with no chipping!

I have had a Klean Kanteen that I purchased on Amazon in 2016. I have used it as my nightstand water bottle for 9 years. In preparation for international travel, I decided to purchase a second one due to its perfect size for a backpack water bottle pocket.What happened? The first thing I noticed was that it weighed half as much when I picked it up. It feels like plastic water bottle type light. But, hey, maybe technology made things lighter. After washing and then filling it, I noticed the HUGE difference in quality. I filled my other Klean Kanteen nightly with ice + water and there would still be ice the next night. And no sweating. As soon as I filled the one I just purchased, the bottle felt ice cold from the outside and started sweating. I am laying here watching water beading on the surface and running down the outside of the bottle onto my wooden nightstand. I will get up to grab a coaster, but I’m not sure that will be enough to prevent water on my nightstand by morning.These aren’t cheap, but they are no longer any better than something you can buy at the Dollar store. Use your money for something better made. I still love the Beet Red Klean Kanteen that I purchased in 2016. Too bad the quality is now worse than anything I’ve purchased in years. This won’t be traveling overseas with me, and probably will be recycled tomorrow after I rescue my nightstand from a condensation puddle.

Just purchased this and am quite disappointed. I had purchased 3 Kleen Kanteen insulated bottles when the company first began business. I still have all 3 and they work great- keep cold drinks and ice cold for hours, keeps hot drinks hot for hours. My new one does none of the above. And it says Made in China!

This is a no-frills, indestructable stainless steel water bottle. It might get dented but you can't break it. It's not insulated. The sport cap isn't leakproof so I mostly use a standard cap and put it in my bag. It never leaks. It'll literally last your entire life.
