I will definitely wear it as an inner layer within a Canadian trapper's hat I have that could be better insulated at the crown - because I'm bald up there. I like the trawler beanie's ribbed pattern but it does ride up from my eyebrow/forehead level to balance precariously on the crown of my head if not perpetually re-situated on my bonce - because the knitted material is too elasticated - hence the idea to combine it with the trapper's hat and solve two problems in one.Eamonn

Having read some of the more negative reviews I had a small concern about size, but any concerns were groundless as the hat fits perfectly. The material is relatively thin, which is perfect for me, as I didn’t want anything too thick. I might have to order another hat though as my daughter tried it in and wants one.

A bit thin, but I have a good choice of hats. So I think these are good value for money. Cheap and cheerful. I bought lots of these in various colours. If the weather turns really cold. I can go for a warmer hat, I would say these are mid season. Spring /autumn

Absolutely love this hat. I've searched for years to find one that fits like this. To all the reviewers on here who say that it's too small because it doesn't cover their ears it's supposed to be like that.

I actually thought it would be a lot thicker material, does not cover your ears, I will probably not wear this.cheap enough for the money,but if you want a nice thick hat with a turnover to keep your ears warm....alas this is not for you, covers the top of your head.
