Super Comfy & Convenient
These shoes are lightweight but sturdy. They are very comfortable for all-day wear. They slip on and off very easily. Definitely worth the investment.

Love the shoe, but the color was misleading
This is a review on the Kizik Madrid in Marshmallow 12.5W/11M wide.SIZING:My normal size is 12W/10.5M, but because of other reviews I went up a half size and I now know that was not necessary. My longest toe was about a 1/2" from the end of the shoe and slid back and forth just a touch. I wear 12s in Brookes, Asics, Hokas, same size across the board. Only shoe that I might need to change size with is Naturalizer, where I'd fit better in a 11.5.I ordered a wide even though my feet are typically on the narrower size because I'm currently in my second trimester, which was the reason for considering Kiziks in the first place! I wanted a truly no-hands shoe and this is absolutely it. My feet have already swelled some (earlier than in my previous pregnancy), which I noticed in some other shoes I have, so I do find the wide to be perfectly accomodating for my situation. I will say that because I am not technically wide-footed, the width of which the wide sizes are capable of going is wider than my needs, but the laces are able to tighten such that my foot doesn't move side to side.COLOR:I realized after ordering that the "marshmallow" color is named as such and not called "white" or "ivory" because it just isn't white. I thought that the picture here on Amazon appeared quite white, which is what I wanted, but in person I found them to be noticably yellow/off-white. I wouldn't call them cream because I imagine a typical cream to be more neutral than this marshmallow-yellow color.SUMMARY: I returned these shoes because they were slightly too large (my fault) and slightly yellowish, not white. As a final critique, I will say I found the Madrid style to be a bit clown-esque, so I ultimately reordered in a different style on the Kizik website because Amazon doesn't carry them (Kizik Irvine in Ivory size 12W EE, same price as the Madrid at time of this review 10/2023 - $99). If you want a more accurate depiction of the color of the shoe you're considering, I would advise you to look at the same shoe on the Kizik website, it appears more clear there which is white vs. not quite.

Favorite pair of shoes I've ever had.
Favorite pair of shoes I've ever had. On my second pair.Below is a copy of the feedback I left Kizik via their website:Hey, I just wanted to give some positive feedback and ask that you never stop making the black-on-black Madrid shoe.I've just replaced my first pair after 2+ years or so wearing them every single day, and that's only because I wore the tread flat after hundreds of miles of walking - the uppers are still perfect. I'm actually keeping the old pair as house slippers, because they're still perfectly functional for most stuff that doesn't require tread.Points of praise:- They were wonderful while travelling in Japan, where shoes have to be removed often to enter most hotels and many restaurants, etc, and the ability to kick them off and step into them made that so easy. This is also true for airports where one has to take shoes off during security screening.- They're incredibly comfortable, whether walking 15+ in a single day on the streets of Chicago or hiking a mountain in Japan.-They're very lightweight, which is great when you're putting in miles a day - every gram counts.- I can machine wash them them by throwing them in the washer every couple of weeks and letting them air dry, and they've held up wonderfully to that with no noticeable wear.- They dry quickly as well once wet and are very breatheable.- I appreciate that the black-on-black with lack of large ugly logos makes them incredibly versatile. That discreetness is especially useful while traveling, when you might be tempted to pack another pair of dressier shoes in case you find yourself visiting an upscale restaurant or something. They blend in with any outfit.I've mentioned travel a few times above, and while I find them to be perfect everyday shoes, I think they're the perfect travel shoe for the reasons stated above - maybe you can use that in your marketing? In any case, I hope you appreciate the positive feedback. I implore you to never stop making these or change them. I'm an avid hiker and I've found 'the perfect hiking shoe' several times, but when it came time to replace them, the manufacturer apparently felt the need to change things for no good reason. You keep making these, and I'll keep buying them and recommending them to others.

Hands Free!
I bought these for my brother who has debilitating rheumatoid arthritis. I bought him two other pairs before this that were supposed to be slip ons but didn't work for him. These did! The heel technology is outstanding for someone who has limited mobility and can't put regular shoes on. He said they are incredibly easy to slip on and super comfortable. It is a really big deal for him and we're grateful we found these shoes. ❤️

Decent for what it is
As others have noted the shoes run a bit small so I ordered a size larger than normal. I also ordered the mens wide. It runs wide, not extra wide so at this point the shoe fits snugly but not overly tight. They are build on the lighter side so cant really evaluate at this point how they will hold up with wear and tear, time will tell. The shoes are not really slip ons as the back foot area is fairly soft and for me at least I'll need to use a shoe horn to get into them. Overall comfort I'd give them an 8/10 to start. I expect they will stretch out slightly with use which would actually be ok for me. Also as mentioned by others the laces are mostly decorative as the inner elastic band does not adjust. Opening up the laces will give you a slightly wider top but only slightly. I think its a fine purchase as long as your expectations are moderate.

Love these Shoes!
These shoes are wonderful. Easy to slip into.Order the next size if you want toe room. They seemed to run a tad bit short.
