I received my guitar and amp today. All was as advertised. It seems very nice. The guitar is fully stringed and ready to be tuned. No problem tuning. It has a real nice feel to it, solid and attractive. The strings are at a perfect distance from the fret board for ease of playing and is adjustable if not just right. It came with everything you need to be playing in a few minutes of unpacking setting up and tuning. To tune I use an app on my iphone, but could also use my piano or keyboard. This whole setup is inexpensive but not cheap. It comes with extra strings, picks, chord to plug the guitar into the amp and allen wrenches for adjustment. They even have a set up for two months of free lessons. So far I couldn’t be happier or more impressed. UPDATE: this guitar has become my favorite as it continues to look, feel, and work well.

This tiny little amp and guitar put out a really nice sound. You do have to tune it just about every time you use it but for $80 it's worth every penny. Look super cool, fairly lightweight and my kid loves it!

The guitar is great, however everything in the bundle is low/poor quality as expected when you buy a bundle. So if you end up loving your beginners guitar like I do expect to buy the rest of your items SEPARATELY. The amplifier has very little options, your not going to get that rock/metal solo sound if that's what you are looking for your going to have to get a separate amp. But considering that this guitar is for beginners and not someone who's going to shred, bend and slide like a rockstar yet, I'll let it pass. Its perfect for simply learning the instrument and eventually as you get better you can upgrade to a more expensive electric guitar.

I bought this guitar a couple months ago and it has stood up really well over that time. The amp is loud and powerful, the guitar is so easy to play and there's a sort of buttery feel when moving up and down the strings. The only problem I had was that the strap on it broke almost immediately, so I would suggest buying an actual one that'll last rather than the crappy one they send with the guitar. As for it being worth the price, I can't quite say at this point because when I bought it it was $104 which was such a good deal for a guitar and amp. But considering it has gone up over a hundred dollars I don't think I would've bought it at this price, not because of the quality though, but just cause I'm cheap.TL;DR Great instrument and I will cherish it forever, but I do find it strange how much the price has gone up in the past 4 months.

I have very mixed feelings on this guitar/amplifier package. It was a Xmas gift for our oldest son (12yrs old). He absolutely loves this guitar. It is his first electric guitar so my spouse and I didn't want to spend a fortune on it, in case it's a passing fad. However he truly enjoys playing and this guitar makes it seem enjoyable. Of course when the guitar was opened my husband had to adjust/tune the guitar. The guitar has a clear well rounded sound for a beginner guitar and it's richness was unexpected.However as I'm writing this review the amplifier that comes with the guitar has begun crackling and popping! This is occurring only a bit over a month after it was received. We contacted Rockjam and didn't receive any reply. To Amazon's credit they did offer a refund when it was technically a day or two after the return policy had expired. My son elected to keep the guitar instead since he only wanted a new amp! Anyway Amazon did prorate the package and give a proportional credit. Unfortunately in order to return the amp he would have had to return the guitar as well.Therefore in order to keep the guitar he enjoys he had to be "stuck" with an amp that crackles and pops. We plan on upgrading his amp anyway in the near future. Just be wary with the Rockjam company they didn't even have the decency to respond to our inquiry. The guitar is a value but accessories are at your own risk. I guess at this price point it's expected. Quality guitar but bad corporate customer service. This is an honest assessment.

I've been playing acoustic for about 9 months and couldn't believe that I'd found an electric this cheap - and with an AMP!The amp isn't the most impressive but it works and is basically free...The guitar holds tune well enough for the price and I feel glad that I found it. If I get a lot of fun out of this one - I'll look into more expensive guitars.I'd highly recommend this for students or anyone who just wants to give it a shot. It's plug & play - fastest way to make friends with your neighbors ;)

What a great product for the money. Our 6 year old grandson was ecstatic. He loves it. We ha e a few guitar players in our famialy and they were impressed as well. Highly recomend for a beginner. It was better than expected.

oh boy, were do i start... well first, a year ago when i was really noobie about guitars and had no idea what to buy i purchased this guitar bundle... was it a good idea? no.. number one its light asf meaning the wood is nothing quality. two the amp decent for beginners but sounds pretty bad compared to my cousins beginner amp. It just gets muddy on the overdrive setting and just makes anything you play kinda just sound like noise. and the strings are bad being the half year i had it, i had to replace all the strings and i didnt even play hard them. but the worst thing of all about it. is that not even a year of having it and with not even that hard of use, the wood that the bridge is screwed into broke for use of the whammy bar, preventing the strings to ever be in tune again... thats completely ridiculous. dont buy from rockjam, wanna good cheap guitar amp bundle get a zeny guitar amp bundle. its about the same price as this has everything this comes with and its soo much better quality, my cousin has it and you can just feel the difference in quality between the two.
