HOLY CRAP!! I bought these after seeing my friend wearing a similar pair that had pockets and watch her phone not fall out. But little did I know the heaven that would grace my butt when I put these on. Thick, COMFY, supportive material. Stretch for days! Hides all that post baby belly chub like a dream! And the best part! The pockets! The fact that they exist is awesome but I decided, for science, to see just how mom friendly these suckers are. They hold everything and securely! As you can see in the picture that’s a full size bottle of rose in my pocket and trust me when I tell you I could run from the police in these things and trust that my precious pink (I’m referring to the rose...) is just as safe and secure as my kids once were in their baby carriers. Probably more so since I was never going to win any awards for tying those baby wrap things on... and the pocket was not stretched or bagged out after I removed the bottle, the material snapped right back in place like it was never there. If you do one good thing for yourself today it’ll be to buy a pair of these. Also, don’t worry when the package arrives and you bought your usual size. I went by the TTS fit and when I opened them up I thought they looked 2 sizes too small. But my self loathing insisted I try them on anyway and I was pleasantly surprised they fit just right. For reference I bought an XL and I’m about 5’-4” with long thick legs, wide hips, enough butt to get me in a Sir Mix A Lot video.

Because I’m old AF, Activewear really isn’t my jam. I prefer a more classic look for every day. However two life events took place that made me change my mind. The first was a 17-pound Pandemic weight gain. If I had a dollar for every bag of tortilla chips I consumed during the last six months, I would be able to afford to move back to NYC! And not have to work! The second event was cataract surgery ( and yes-when you get old it’ll happen to you!). Forgetting about the impact this pandemic has in connection on healthcare, I recently had the first of two cataract surgeries. Dopey me. I wore a little black dress thinking I would have to change in a hospital gown. Instead, I had to wear my lbd during surgery! Not wanting to expose my gorgeous panties or worse, a blanket was placed over me.Needless to say my thoughts were “NFW am I wearing a dress to my next surgery”. And so, I let my fingers do the walking over to Amazon! And I found these leggings/ pants/ activewear thingies. Oh am I thrilled with them!Regardless of my expanding hips, thighs and gut, I went with the Medium. At 5’6” and 157 lbs, the fit is fabulous! My gut is sucked in and the high waist is super Post-menopause friendly! I’ll admit, these could be a tad longer in the leg but it isn’t a deal-breaker!The fabric is thick and opaque so you can keep transparency for your personality rather than what you’re wearing!And these have pockets!! Holy Cannoli! Pockets! When I go back for my second cataract surgery, I can slide my insurance cards and IDin one pocket and my cell phone in the other! This is epic as purses aren’t allowed at the surgical center! Who knew that this activewear would come in handy as surgical attire? And I can work out too! Well, I’m lazy so let’s just say I can walk my dog in these pants!The price is right, the fit is flattering and fabulous Nd I need another pair! These are great! I purchased these solely based on the design and side pockets. Normally I buy my workout pants at TJ Maxx for about $14.99/$16.00 but they don't have many options. I specifically wanted one pair of workout pants that were not black and with side pockets (and you can't be that picky at TJ Maxx...you can find one or the other but rarely both). I came across these on Amazon and they had pretty decent reviews. They were more expensive than I normally buy but I was willing to try them. I am 5" 5" and 200 lbs and I usually get a Large at TJ Maxx (mainly for the compression...If I was going for a totally comfortable size it would be an XL but when I am working out I like everything sucked in and non-jiggly). I ordered a Large on these as well. It came as expected. Side pockets were the depth would get at TJ Maxx (held my phone on one side and car keys on the other without any problems). I didn't like the length (not enough to return them) but I wish they were a few inches longer. I suspect if I was 5"3" they would be the perfect length for me. I made the picture diagram to help anyone make a decision. I have a 5"9" friend and I suspect they would be just under the knee for her (remember I ordered the capri length...they have several sizes). I loved the wide high waist band (I blocked it out in the picture and showed where my belly button was). I definitely felt my rolls were sucked in as I exercised today (3 mile bridge walk). It didn't roll down at all (so bonus!) I have one TJ Maxx pair that annoy me by rolling down at the waist if I so much as sneeze that I hate). The material is thick so no see through issues. I live in the south and I don't think they were too hot (but I exercise in the morning to avoid the heat). So aside from the length and the extra cost (over TJ Maxx) I would have given them five stars. I am going to order another pair (not capris length to see if I get the length I like) so I will have a least two pairs of work out pants that aren't black (I was trying to mix up my exercise wardrobe a bit). I haven't washed them yet so I will add to the review if I run into any problems on that front. Hopefully this review helps!

I’m not going to lie: I added to cart to add to the reviews of pics with wine bottles in the pockets. But I whipped these on, felt all snug and happy, grabbed my bottle and ran up the stairs. I took the picture and realized my mirror was dirty. I went and got a towel and some cleaner and bent down and wiped the full-length mirror top to bottom before realizing how secure the bottle had been this entire time (for whatever reason I just left it in my pants!) the material is nice and thick and cotton-y (instead of the nylon that goes “zip! zip! zip!” as my thunder thighs greet each other each step of the way). They have the perfect amount of compression where I feel secure and comfortable. I haven’t been tugging at them or pulling them up so they’re a winner in my book. Ordering more now!

5,3" & 175lbs.Bit of a belly, so I look for high compression workout pants. I also have started running, so pants that DON'T EFFING FALL is a must.A lot of times, high waisted pants make my stomach more pronounced so I look pregnant. I'm literally not sucking in at all in the second picture, these are that fantastic. All my athletic wear is old and wearing out. Needed some new. Was paying 60+$ for nice brands but not anymore!!!I had great luck with bathing suits off Amazon, so I decided to look for athletic wear, and BOY did Amazon deliver! I am buying these in all the colors. I bought the dark Camo pair with the marble. They are so comfortable and I feel so secure.
