I've owned this Lionsteel M2M knife for several years and never used it except to cut paper. Why? Because the leather sheath that came with it does not fit the knife and I can't clip the leather strap to secure the knife to leather sheath. The leather sheath is also not properly formed to the knife and I've already cut the leather sheath when I tried to carefully put the blade back into the leather sheath. Only yesterday (Oct 12 2024) did I finally soak the leather sheath in water for several minutes, wrapped the blade in foil and was able to stretch out the leather sheath to fit the knife and to be able to snap the leather strap around the blade to secure it to the leather sheath. After I poured out the water from the soaking, the water was brown from the dye from the leather sheath. I shouldn't have had to soak the leather sheath (which I put off for years because I didn't want to damage the knife or the sheath) to have it fit into the Lionsteel leather sheath. I spent over $160 on this knife and I should have to do this for such an expensive knife. I also own a Lionsteel T5, that has a much better designed leather sheath but I wanted a kydex sheath and bought a LionSteel kydex sheath (made by Lionsteel, not a ebay or etsy homemade one) and it didn't fit the knife properly. In fact I couldn't pull my T5 blade out and had to unscrew the rivets to loosen the Lionsteel brand kydex sheath to remove my blade and returned the sheath to the seller. Until Lionsteel gets it act together with their sheaths, I wouldn't buy another Lionsteel fixed blade. Again I recommend their knives but not their sheaths, leather or kydex.

This is my second Lionsteel knife and it won't be my last. Stellar craftsmanship, great ergonomics, and stupid sharp blade retention. You can't go wrong with this one.

This knife is vary well built and great to use because it stays vary sharp.

The media could not be loaded. The quality and sharpness of this EDC knife, the blade is no doubt the best thing of this item as well as the weight. For the size of it the weight is not noticable. You can shave with this knife that's how Sharp it is so use with care and as long as you maintain the edge to stay sharpened and oil the knife due to the type of steel is made off so no rust is created, I do recommend using natural oils to maintain it lube as well as the sheathing so it doesn't dry out and the leather stays flexible.The only cons I have is the sheathing. The thread falls off too soon as it happened to my first knife. Now the second one I just received it therefore I'll see how long it will last. I wear mine in the front off my pants on my belts so no issues occur. I find it comfortable and for others have preferred in the back on their buckle. This sheathing is already splitting on the bottom side as soon as you insert the blade in, you can see the cement glue coming apart but hopefully the screw will keep it in tacked.Finally the mayor problem was that when they sent me a replacement they sent me the wrong color my original order was the LSTM2MST and I received the LSTM2MCVN Wich is less than the one I originally ordered by about 18 to 20 dollar's difference and I was not compensated for it. Other than that the knife it's self is good for EDC as long as the sheathing is staying together. I'll just have to wait and see how long I can make this one last. The wife feel tremendously horrible for this was a gift to begin with. She wants to send it back and get the correct color but instead I told her it's fine I'll deal with it I'll grow into it. I do a lot of wood working and I love the dark wood natural color.Great for EDC, camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, woodworking and even if you work on the Fields of the woods. I do love to take it everywhere and prepare my foods as well with it no matter where I am.

I really like the extended knife grip.M390 is awesome. Full flat blade is a nice slicer,Now the bad thing - you cannot use the sheath. I am not able to insert the knife into it and therefore lock it and carry it.I really like the knife but I have no idea how to carry and use it now.Stupid design and materials on sheath prevent me from positive feedback. Useless.
