MerrellALVERSTONE MID WATERPROOF mens Hiking Shoe

I bought these shoes for trail hiking in the Scottish highlands and was not disappointed. They are supportive and comfortable enough to wear all day. Although I did wear them a few times before my trip, I felt they fit well from the start and didn't really need a "break-in period" like some shoes do. I did not get any hot spots or soreness on my feet and I didn't feel the need to add insoles. These fit quite well (true to size) and I like that they are a bit higher than normal shoes for a little extra ankle support. They seem to be well-constructed from quality materials and I had no issues with them at all throughout the entire trip. I look forward to many more hiking adventures in these shoes!

I have had the same pair of these for two years wearing them every day and they keep kicking. I bought two more pairs one for hunting and hiking and one for work. They take any abuse you throw at them and the suede material walks clean if you get it dirty or muddy unless you get in heavy clay mud. My only complaint about them is that they are not waterproof any Merrell shoe that claims to be waterproof is not and will get your feet wet.

got these for my husband and they’re now his favorite shoe. he likes the high ankle support and how durable they are when hiking, fishing or just running around.

I use these to work I love these boots fit perfectly and are comfortable.

Second order of these shoes and am still happy with them.
