Sweet Valley Twins: Best Friends: (A Graphic Novel)

It’s a really good book series my daughter likes but it’s not her favorite

My niece was happy to get this book and reading isn't her favorite past time. So I took that as a good thing.

Brought back some memories from my childhood. Some details have been updated, like adding cell phones and seems to have more diverse supporting characters than I remember. My 10 year old loved the graphic novel style and couldn’t put it down! I think she finished it in a day and a half by picking it up every time she had a free moment.

This is a pretty cute book about twins trying to figure out who they are individually while still trying to stick together. I got this because my fourth graders love the graphic novel adaptations of the Baby-Sitters Club, so I figured they’d enjoy a new adaptation of another classic. The ending felt a little chopped off, but I guess that’s because they’re continuing in a second book.Overall I felt that the book is pretty appropriate for fourth graders, but there is one word in the book that was questionable. Some people don’t mind the word “pissed”, but for others like me who are just teachers trying not to get in trouble for anything in their classroom libraries, this might be a deal breaker. I wanted to post on here and make sure other teachers or parents have the opportunity to make informed decisions before buying this book.The book does say “pissed off”, and it also talks about a girl wearing a red bra under a white shirt.

I enjoyed the Sweet Valley Twins as a young girl and now my daughter does too!

My 9 year old niece finished in a weekend and loved the story. I used to read the original series when I was younger, it's so fun to share the graphic version with her.

I have been a Sweet Valley fan since 1983. I was so impressed with this book. It followed the original storyline, it was amazing visually and I felt all of those feelings that I used to feel when I was young getting Sweet Valley books at the bookstore each month. I LOVED IT

This was a cute comic style book. My daughters enjoy reading them and actually look forward to their nightly reading now that we found these books.

I have been looking for this book for my daughter for a while and finally Sweet Valley Twin's is back as a graphic Novel, My Aunt bought these books in the 90's, one of the books I enjoyed through Middle and High School.

Great turning this novel and into comic book. Really good love this book and finished it in one day. Good book

Such a lovely, fun way to revisit the Wakefield twins. Highly recommended for series favourites and new readers alike.
