I am writing this review through alternating tears of joy, and tears of rage at the manufacturers of every piece of flat-pack furniture it has been my misfortune to have assembled in my life thus far. The instructions for building this bench are fairly standard, if perhaps slightly above average, but that's not really the point.Reader, each item in the box is labelled. You don't have to spend forever trying to guess whether screw Y as shown in the not-to-scale illustrations is microscopically longer or shorter or wider or thinner than screw Z. The nuts and bolts and metal gizmos are in individual plastic baggies, each labelled with its name as used in the instructions. The doohickeys and widgets are bagged together with the screws that pertain to those widgets and doohickeys. Every piece of wood is labelled with its name. And the wood is arranged in the cardboard packaging such that as you proceed through the instruction steps, each piece you take out next is the piece you need for the next step.The bench itself seems to be of reasonable quality, although it's a bit early to judge, but at this point in time I couldn't care less. If it falls apart in weeks it simply means I get to build another one sooner. The people purportedly in charge of Ikea and all other such companies need to mass resign in shame and disgrace and hand the keys to their companies over to whoever is responsible for this spectacular piece of design.

Grandson think it’s great how he can use to draw,colour in and then use to sit and have his meal

arrived on time, instructions were average but I have built a fair bit of flat pack in my time. a few small chips to the corners of the wood but nothing much. Im overall ok with the item.

My grandson loves it well worth the money.

Got for my daughter to play slime on. It’s brilliant. Well put together. Very handy storage. She loves she can flip it when she wants!!!

I was really impressed with this product when it came but I’ve had it 2 weeks and already it’s broken the wood is cheap MDF and the table has completely broken off

Lovely looking, enough space in box for books and toys. Like the safety feature for when used as chair instead of desk

Bought this because I thought it was a fantastic idea and space saving, in less than a week the mechanism inside the toy box broke and the lid to the toy box snapped off just from general opening and closingThe table part is also wobbly and starting to split so have to chuck it out, I know kids can be rough, but baring in mind I don’t let him climb on it or yank it about, I expected it to last more than a week
