Very durable, very sturdy, tricky to assemble.
The assembly was trying! The directions were clear but the actual follow through was difficult. The tire assembly was ridiculous! That being said, it is very sturdy, very durable and came together like much more expensive toy. There is no way a toddler could damage this tractor. The color is bright and the trailer is easy for a 2 year old to put on and off. He is 2 and his feet did not quite reach the peddles but that isnt a problem he will grow into it.

The cutest little tractor any aspiring farmer could hope for.
We bought this for our granddaughter's 2nd birthday and it was the hit of the party. She sings Old McDonald all day every day and when we gave her the tractor she said "Old McDonald's tractor!" and jumped on. She is getting the hang of pedaling and she loves starting the engine sound and would like to leave it on all day! She fills the trailer with all of her farm animals and she LOVES it. The directions were sketchy - just a picture and not easy to follow. Make sure you get the right axels and tires for the tractor and the trailer - they are not interchangeable and just about derailed our assembly.

Perfect for the child who loves machines
This is put together with pictures and not words. That worked fine for us! The Germans who made the tractor only had one slip up, they pictured a bladed screwdriver when what we needed was a Phillips. My husband figured it was a joke on their part. It went together like magic and is sturdy. Like some of the other reviews I could live without the motor sounds but Luca loves them and I can live with them for him! Great horn though!

So cute but the assembly instructions are horrible and the parts should be labeled better.

Found a you-tube instructional video which was better than the enclosed instructions. Other than that went together perfectly.

Our grandchildren have lots of fun with this unit. It is expensive but to me well worth it.

A challenge to assemble
My husband is a retired engineer. This assembly took him four hours. The greatest challenge, besides the instructions being in German, was the rear wheel assembly. You must find something firm to insert into the wheel indention on one side while you pound the other wheel onto the axle. Being a home canner, I had a stack of can lids (thin metal 3-4 inches in diameter stacked 4-5 inches tall) that we finally used. Have fun!

Big hit! Sounds like a real tractor starting up and shutting off. Relatively easy to assemble.
