Solid and attractive

Bottom part is too short IMO
Meh. They are cute, but I have not purchased book ends for a very long time. I think that the bottom of the “L”, the piece that runs under the books, on the shelf, needs to be longer. It is short and I find that if I pull out a book & they lean, there is not sufficient leverage to keep the books up. The weight of the leaning books flip the book ends & everything goes kitty-wompus onto the floor.

Simple, elegant, and strong!
Amazing value and nice quality! There are various listings for one pair, two pairs, three pairs of these same bookends -- I ordered the "three pairs" listing and am so glad I did. These are a great way to keep my Lemony Snicket books aligned neatly -- and also work very well for the heavy and large books we have lining our media console. I was considering getting some similar simple bookends from The Container Store -- but am glad I went with these instead, because they're a fraction of the cost. Cute design, too!
