I looked all over the local area and couldn't find a black v-neck sweater. I always find what I want on Amazon. Thank you. I love this sweater!

AA sweaters run large so I went with a medium and I’m 5’9 and 160 pounds. The sweater fits perfectly and the yellow is such a pretty color.

At first I hated it because of the color pretty much, but then I gave it a chance and now I really like it and wear it at least once a week. The top is kind of baggy but that ends up giving it a very flattering look, especially if you want to wear a thin cami layered under it and the bottom has a generous length so you can cover your midsection well if that is a problem area.The material is soft enough and it is warm and comfortable to wear. I am still not crazy about the color but as i mentioned, it has grown on me. Basically I like a sweater that covers my belly and rear and these do the job well and I love the neckline, I just pull it back at the top and it gives a really loose, casual, & comfortable look. I like it with slacks or with solid colored leggings/yoga pants. It's really a great option if given the chance.. I never expected to like it this much. The general feel of this sweater is that it is cheap. The finishes feel very unrefined for the price. Originally I was attracted to this piece as my first from American Apparel because of the color. However the quality doesn't live up to its former cult status.I love 100% cotton, I love the raw, natural feel. But somehow this doesn't translate in this sweater in commanding the price that the tag reads. Granted, it's huge on me — I did order the large to get a loose fit, and that it what I got and wasn't expecting the neck to be so deep. Now I love a deep V, sometimes really deep as in braless style, but this one seemed 'gapey' and loose and too revealing to wear on its own. Perhaps this size is just too big for me and I should have gone for the small. Fair warning thought that even if I ordered true to size this might still be deep.The length for the large from shoulder to hem is 27-1/2". For reference I'm 5'2" and 36/31/41.Generally the finishes are sloppy. The seams in the sleeves seem a little wonky and the edges around the back of the neck are thin and they roll. It just feels like cheap finishes passed off as a relaxed style.I'm really not impressed with this overpriced sweater.
