Thermipaq Hot Cold Pack 9.5 x 16 - Thermionics 302 - (Pack of 2)

I love these ice packs for their size and ability to retain the cold. I'm a warm person so most ice packs are cool to lukewarm within a few minutes of me using them (without any covers or anything). These clay packs however retain the cold a lot better so I can use them longer and let the chill reach into the affected muscles and work like a charm.

This has a little weight to it , which allows me to place it on my surgical site without falling off or slipping around. And it retains heat much longer than other pads using beans, grains, or whatever that light weight filling is. This is a smaller version of what my physical therapist uses. I love this thing.

I love these! I own three in different sizes, use them often. Esp good for migraine, but really comes in handy for joint and muscle pain, because the velcro straps make them applicable anywhere.They are heavy, but I like that, and use a compression sleeve or stretch garment to hold them in place if have to be moving around. Highly recommend!

We’ve bought several of these over the years. They eventually get holes but that’s after being used 2x a day, 4 days a week! Great product!

While you can't have it both ways at the same time, you can choose the way you want it with these packs. They stay cold or hot longer than most other types and the XL covers my hip quite well. They are definitely worth getting.

I bought one of these over 10 years ago and it finally 'gave up the ghost'. I have degenerative disc - lumbar and these are the best heat packs I've found - the gel packs I have sit unused. I've been using it more than ever the past few years, so this time I purchased the 2 pack.

Ordered the wrong size but this size is really good for warming an area of bed or for anyone with a lower back problem. Regarding 9.5x16" pad, directions for heating only heat pad to a low temperature. I have increased time in my 1300 watt microwave to 1 minute 30 seconds. May shorten life of pad but I can live with that. This size is probably too large to keep in your freezer. We keep 2 of the smaller pads in the freezer for occassional use.
