Batman Earth One: The Complete Collection

It is by far one of the greatest Batman stories out there right now. The art is great, the story is amazing and the characters have a unique spin that also remains respectful of what came before. You really can't go wrong with this one.

I think of this story as an elseworld. Love the earth one batman, especially alfred. Matt reeves batman movie also makes it for an interesting reaf.

This was amazing. Although it's certainly a more modern batman story, it has it's own unique glamor to it that truly does attract me to it. The art is insanely good. The attention to detail is jawdropping; you can immediately tell that the author is actually passionate about his art and is passionate about conveying Batman's story to the greatest extent (unlike the washed out comic artists that do it purely for the cash). Its telling of batmans origins really ties his character together and explains so, so much without leaving any gaping plot holes. Insane!

Very good but ended on cliffhanger

Batman’s origin story is likely one of the most rehashed in the DC universe.Johns’ retell is fantastic. Reintroducing allies and villains new and familiar, Earth One tells the story of The Batman’s rise in a way that kept me turning the pages. It’s well-written and drawn and establishes itself firmly in the Bat-universe. Bullock’s character is treated with a care that I especially appreciated, and I thought it really demonstrated the way Johns might feel how Gotham tarnishes everyone who sets foot in it.

I cannot emphasize enough how absolutely incredible this is! Geoff Johns never disappoints. In a world saturated by the "origin" story, I wasn't too sure about this at first. I mean, how many times can we see how Batman becomes Batman? But this soooo much more than that. This is fresh and exciting! This SHOULD have been the source material for the Batman remake. I love the new take on each and every character. This is not only a fantastic read, it is one of the better Batman stories out there as a whole.The only problem I have is that it ended.

This Batman story is empathetic, realistic, logical, beautiful, tragic and uplifting. Its a story of Bruce Wayne the man the struggle and freedom that comes from his quest to save Gotham and battle his own personal demons. People this is a story you wont regret reading. The bar is raised which each subsequent volume and the characters costume redesigns are stunning from killer croc to the Riddler. Its a treat to have all 3 in one set, I had to wait a decade for these to come out one by one.

This collection features the first three Batman stories. I feel so excited in this collection. it is a attractive, misery, romantic hero tale that captivated me from the start. It also revealed some history about batman. I highly recommend it.” 🦇📖🌟

Book came in perfect condition in a timely manner.The book itself is a work of art. Johns does it again with DC. A great addition for any comic book fan10/10 no problems here

I have started collecting comics for my husband as he is willing to build a collection of his own. To give him surprise I have gone through the writer names and collection and other factors of comic books. But after reading few on my own I am continuously buying geoff johns. This is another addition to the collection and this is another best story line and awesome artwork by Geoff Johns. Go for it. I ma not a very big fan of batman movies except Dark knight but this books are far far better from a movie.

The Batman movie obviously took a lot from here. Enjoyable approach to the stories
