Super Hot, 2 minute install
I have a 4 burner Bull, Bullet grill. I replaced one to use for searing. On high I find it too hot for most of what I cook and I turn it down a bit.Installation takes no time and no tools.

A MUST FOR BULL OWNERS
I liked this so much I bought a second. I contacted Bull and asked if my Angus would support a second one and they said yes but to place them at opposite ends of the grill so as not to generate too much heat at one end. This allows you to sear at least four and maybe six steaks at a time and at least six burgers.We have found that we often do not even place the steak on the regular grill after searing them. A normal size T-Bone, New York or Filet placed on the searing burner for three to four minutes on each side does them just right. Nice and seared on the outside and nicely pink and juicy on the inside.On burgers two to three on each side then a minute or two on the regular grill makes them perfect depending on your taste.If you have a Bull grill this burner is a MUST. You will not be sorry.

The PERFECT addition to your Bull bbq
The PERFECT addition to your Bull bbq. My BBQ had this searing unit already installed, but it was gunked up and falling apart after probably a decade of heavy use by previous owners of my home. Replaced the old one, and this new one is kicking butt. Produces an intense 900F infrared heat. Rarely flames up unless you have a fatty cut of meat over it. Let it heat up for 5-10min, oil your grill grates, and sear steaks for 2min per side, then finish off-heat for a few min each side for rare/med-rare. Worth every penny.

Not a standard size. Small in size
Searer isnot a standard size. It is too short and is not a good fit any Viking line of grills

Best purchase ever
Best purchase ever. Sear over the burner for 1 minute/side and then finish with indirect heat. Perfectly done EVERY time because even a beginner can deliver a rare/medium/well product when cooking slowly over indirect heat vs directly over a flame. Get a $3 meat thermometer to guarantee your dinner is done to your liking (rare/med/well) every time.

WORKS PRETTY WELL
SEARING BURNER WORKS PRETTY WELL. I THOUGHT THAT IT WOULD ELIMINATE THE "FLARE UPS", BUT IT STILL FLARES. GRILL MARK HOWEVER DOES LOOK GOOD. I THINK IT COULD PROBABLY BE DONE WITH THE REGULAR BURNERS BUT WOULD JUST TAKE LONGER
