Like lots of people, I bought a chaise/sofa bed from a 'assemble-yourself' chain. The price was great, the look was great, the hidden storage was fantastic and it was comfortable as a sofa. But for sleeping, it was pretty hard and the space between the two sections always seemed to be in an uncomfortable location.At first, I purchased a foam 'topper' that was two inches and pretty soft. It was OK, but didn't solve the problem of the space making some sleep positions uncomfortable.This cot-sized mattress is perfect. I bought the 3-inch version and now get a great night's sleep. Its just an inch or so wider than the 'sofa configuration' which is great since I often sleep without extending the bed section from below.I'll buy a second one of these and use two when I extend the full bed. The spare one fits easily in the storage compartment.The cover and non-slip surface make this easy to use and should prevent the tears that I experienced with the uncovered 'topper' that I've now thrown in the trash.This has been a great solution!

I purchased this to be a mattress topper for my camper van bunk. It gives good support while making the bed soft enough for me to sleep on my side. I really like the zipper cover, which will protect the topper while adding a little softness to the bed. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Unless you're big and strong and/or have someone to help, this won't fit into the provided compression straps. Not even when straps are fully extended.Also, a tougher cover with color choices that don't show dirt would be nice, as I also intend to use it form camping. However, it is a very comfortable and worked great on my sleeper chair.

Really impressed with the quality. This turned an extremely uncomfortable couch into an ultra comfortable bed. Would not work well for someone over 5’6. In that case get the longer one, but this fit a standard couch perfectly

Great for kids use. Not super thick but enough for younger kids extra comfort. We use this in our camper for our 7 year olds bunk. He sleeps much better now.

I purchased this to use over an air mattress in my minivan camper. What a difference it makes! The air mattress is fine on its own, but this elevated that sleeping area to a completely new level. It feels like my memory foam mattress at home now! I actually needed to adjust the length a bit for my camper....no problem using an electric carving knife. Nice product, good value. Very satisfied.

Not sure on these other reviews. I spent time researching a memory foam camping pad, this is not that. This is a basic foam pad, horrible strong smell, floppy stiff and painful on back and bone. Returning. Don't waste your money. Company refunded me due to their mistake of not clearly marketing that the 2" is NOT memory foam but regular foam. STRONG CHEMICAL OFFGAS AND ODOR NOT COMFORTABLE
