I used to use thick terry cloth headbands for bike riding to keep sweat and suncreeen out of my eyes. I got a new type of bike helmet called a MIPS helmet which doesn't have as much room and those thick headbands would no longer fit. These work perfectly! Stretchy and much thinner than the old terry cloth headbands so they fit between my head and the helmet and they still absorb sweat. I just got them 2 weeks ago so can't comment on durability over the long run but for now I'm very happy with them.

I've been through a lot of headbands over the last few decades: for me they mostly have been for use during outdoor musical performances, and also for general fitness. This is the best headband I have ever owned, and it's worth every bit of the $8 I paid.I recently started playing VR boxing, and my old 2" terry headbands were not cutting it; the HMD was always soaked by the end of a session. I had my reservations about a headband as thin as this one, but not only did Temple Tape enable me to be more comfortable with the HMD on, but the HMD stayed totally dry after 1hr of boxing (I was definitely sweating), and I never had a single drop of sweat in my eyes. I continued to wear this band through weight training, and was impressed by the results; it kept me dry, and stayed in-place. If I decide to step out into the sun: the thin material of this headband will enable me to comfortably wear a fitted hat over it. I'll never go back to old-school terry headbands after Temple Tape.

This headband certainly fits the need and it functions very well. It is a light and thin headband - not bulky. It stays snug without feeling like you have a Boa Constrictor on your head. There is a lot of material at the front, so you can cover most of your forehead (especially if your hair grows in "clear", like mine) or you can roll/fold it depending on your preference. This way you can move it closer to your eyebrows or pull it up to the top of your head - wherever it feels comfortable.It worked very well on my first run using it. No need to wipe my brow or sweat out of my eyes at all during the run. Obviously, it was damp after I finished my run. I hung it up and it dried out quickly. I used it the next day for a kettle-bell workout with the same results. No need to stop and wipe off the sweat and no interference with the workout activity.This comes in a two-pack and I don't need two. So, I asked my son if he wanted to look as cool as I did with the head-band on and use the second one. Of course he wanted to look as cool as me in front of his teenage friends and took the second one. Being serious for a moment - It really worked well. He used it under his helmet for lacrosse during his practices. It is thin enough to wear under his helmet without causing bulkiness, being irritating, or compromising the fit of the helmet. Plus, it keep his hair out of his face without feeling restricted. It worked so well his teammates want one, too.4-stars. Why not 5? I have only had the headband for a week. Obviously, I cannot comment on longevity or how this product wears on the long term. I am happy with the purchase, my son is happy with my purchase. The headband has a soft, quality feel right out of the packet. The bonus is you get two for this price. I think it is a good value and a quality product.-Dave

These are really good!! They’re worth the money. They fit and feel great. I wear them to the gym and they really absorb the sweat. They wash well too!!

These are soft and they stay in place. Very good quility.

Feels good, looks good, but ultimately doesn’t perform. I cycle with these and after 45mins sweat is dropping down my fave and it’s drenched. Can probably work for lifting but not longer sustained cardio where sweat is maximum

Florida golf can be quite a struggle on many hot, humid days! I purchased these bands, which are thin and still allow my normal hat to be worn without any pressure. These bands absorb the sweat from my brow eliminating the burning sweat that would get into my eyes on many days. They are comfortable and work well! Love them!

I sweat a LOT on walks and these are wide enough, and soak up enough, to keep me from sweating all into my eyes. And it protects my forehead from sun, too - I'm always afraid of developing sun spots along my hairline. They don't slip, and wash and machine dry easily. One of my better purchases for walking in humid South Carolina. Before, I was using some thinner polyester headbands from the store and they didn't work nearly as well.
