As stated in the title...this product restored my faith in Ceylon cinnamon. Several months ago I began a regimen of apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, and raw honey. I'd done some research and learned that the McCormick cinnamon in my pantry contained toxic levels of something called coumarin. I came here to Amazon and purchased a highly rated ground Ceylon cinnamon product. Never having used Ceylon cinnamon before I assumed the "dirt-like" aroma and taste was normal and something I'd have to put up with in order to get the benefits of "healthy" cinnamon. It absolutely made everything I put it on or in taste terrible. It wasn't until I started reading 1 star reviews of that product that I saw several descriptions that matched my experience to a "T". (Namely, that it smelled and tasted like dirt.) I rolled the dice on this product in the hope that it would be different. It IS. THIS product is exactly what Ceylon cinnamon should smell and taste like. It enhances everything, the way a quality Ceylon cinnamon product should. I threw out that dirt-like product and replaced it with Coconut Country Living's Ceylon cinnamon!

I have found a winner with this product. I have ordered several times. This is my favorite product it is organic and the texture is smooth the taste is real cinnamon and the health benefits out weight what is in the store. It is always fresh and I am very pleased with it. I will continue to buy this brand if your looking for something new you can’t go wrong.

Mild cinnamon compared to the more common, but a very pleasant subtlety in my coffee and granola. Have a heck of a time resealing the bag...may transfer to a jar...

This Organic Ceylon Cinnamon Powder is the cat's meow. Not only is the price excellent, the product is organic, and it is "true" Ceylon cinnamon, which has low levels of coumarin. Ceyon cinnamon is often preferred over Cassia cinnamon, which has higher levels of coumarin (a blood thinner).We use this in coffee, we mix it with honey, and we even add it to the dog's food. Why? Because cinnamon is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, and antiparasitic, as well as a strong antioxidant. Additionally, some studies have shown that cinnamon has had a positive impact when treating certain tumors and certain cancers, but since "This statement has not been evaluated by the FDA and this product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease," best check w/ your doctor about the benefits of cinnamon. Love this good-for-you organic Ceylon cinnamon; it's at least my 3rd time ordering it. After reading of myriad Ceylon cinnamon benefits, I try to incorporate a tsp. of it (never regular cinnamon) each day. It's in oatmeal, mixed in with unsweetened plain yogurt & berries, on sliced or diced apples, and latest way, in daily pot of coffee (mixed in with ground coffee/one scoop this cinnamon to five scoops of coffee grounds).

I started buying this several years ago. Now, it is the only cinnamon I use. We use this for everything from baking to putting it into our coffee when we brew it. There really is a huge difference in the taste between "true cinnamon" and the stuff you buy in the grocery store. This is way better. The taste is much more subtle but also richer and more complex. I really like the foil packaging. It seems to keep it dry and fresh for a long time. I would highly recommend this for anyone interested in trying out true cinnamon.
