Great value, works well
I had an operation to remove a goitre from my thyroid, which left a red scar and keloid (raised) scar across my neck. I checked online on various sites to find out how I could minimise the scarring / speed up the healing and many said to use silicone strips. I checked a couple of sites including Amazon and chose this product as it's reusable, the reviews are very favourable, and it's a great price. I also decided to use it on my lower arms, as I tend to get small spots which I then scratch and make a mess of my skin - it would stop me scratching and hopefully heal the scars.I started using the strips two weeks after the operation, a little longer than the product suggests you start using it. The keloid scar had not changed since I had had the operation, it was very raised and noticeable (to me, anyway). After only three or four days the keloid scar disappeared, my skin is smooth. I am very impressed! I now just have a thin red line where the incision was made. The area is still quite sensitive, with deep bruising, so I can occasionally feel the sheet is there but most of the time I forget about it. I can't feel it on my arms at all.I take them off every day to wash underneath, to make sure the skin can breathe. Where I peel the strips off the adhesive is damaged so doesn't stick down any more but if the strip is covered over this isn't an issue. They get a little creased up from being reused but again if they are covered by clothing there's no issue. The one on my neck has wrinkled up quite a bit because of how the neck moves but still sticks on fine. I now have two 'sets' of strips, I use one set for four or five days then wash them, they don't look dirty but obviously will pick up skin flakes (for reference, I don't exercise - you would want to wash them more often if you sweat from exertion). I have washed them a couple of times now, they remain as sticky as after I first took them off and reapplied. If you're wondering about their colour, I would say I'm of slightly lighter than normal Caucasian skin colour and the sheets are practically the same colour as my skin.If you are in need of something like this, I highly recommend the product.

Pleased with product after operation
Used after my surgery. Didn’t use every day. Applied Bio Oil more regularly but very pleased with product. Easy to cut off what you need and to apply to scar. Flesh colour makes it virtually invisible (Mine was thyroid scar). I also used when going outdoors to keep free from sun rays instead of a scarf. Subsequently used on my husband’s knee following knee replacement surgery. Again as a secondary use to Bio Oil for scarring. Still have fair bit left so good value for money in our case. My surgeon was on the fence with using this type of product - his words were save your money. Maybe because he was confident with his handy work that my Frankenstein scar would turn out to be a pretty unnoticeable one in due course!

Great product
I bought these silicone scar sheets having read recommendations from plastic surgeons to use for scar healing. I have been using the sheets since 2 weeks post surgery once the wound had healed. I think they are helping the scar to heal by keeping it moisturised. They also create a protective layer on fresh scars/wounds to stop clothinh touching it. The sheets are easy to use, stick well to the skin and do not cause pain removing them. My surgery scar is on my neck and the sheets are discreet and blend in to my skin tone. I will keep using them until my scar begins to fade.

hydrating
Ive been using it for nearly a month now and although you’re supposed to use it for months to see results, I feel like it’s definitely very hydrating and I think the skin around the scar has flattened down a little. It’s easy to use, and not uncomfortable to wear.

Brilliant and actually works
I had a myomectomy and have been left with a 7 inch c-section scar. I have been using these scar sheets for a week and I have to say, as someone who has sensitive skin and is prone to keloid scarring I am impressed with this product! After my 1st use I could see a visible improvement in the appearance of the scar, after second use the scar is completely flat. The adhesion is good and not too harsh when peeled off, it doesn't seem to leave any glue behind on my skin, doesn't take away hairs and is easy to use. I'm so happy with this product I will continue to use until the scar is (pretty much) gone.

So far so good!
I have been using the the Elaimei scar sheets everyday for a week of a C-section scar. I have been surprised to notice that my skin has tarted turning white in parts, improving the appearance and condition of my scar. I love being able to cut the strip to the necessary size as nothing goes to waist. Although I am changing the strip every 24hrs, the effort is paying off. They are comfortable, easy to apply and they seem to be doing their job so far. I would recommend giving them a go.

Seems to work!
I was sceptical about these strips, but ordered them on amazon as where I live they are 3× the price.I've used them for 2 weeks and already notice an improvement. They can easily be cut to the size needed, and re-used.So far so good. Recommend!

Tried on older scars- no change
Confusing instructions Re re-use. Doesn’t specify how long/ how many times? Doesn’t specify on what kind of scar can be used… old or only when healing, deep or shallow etc. Didn’t work at all for me
