The cease fire bell at the range I go to hasn't worked in over a year so I built my own portable cease fire bell inside this case using a fire bell, count down timer and a 12 volt power supply.For the low price I was very impressed at how sturdy this case is and how strong the buckles are. It worked well for my purposes, but it would definitely make a good case for carrying and protecting firearms, cameras, electronics etc. I don't normally care for pluck and pull foam, but I made it work in this instance. A hint for others that also don't care for the pull apart foam. The bottom of this foam is connected and is the part you tear when pulling pieces out. Simply flip it over so you're not constantly shoving little pieces of foam apart as you put your items in or remove them from the case and don't forget to use a bit of spray on adhesive.

I am very pleased with this case. Included knife makes it easy to cut to perfect shape. It has pick and pull foam but you can cut to shape instead of having a loose fit. Latches are positive and hinge appears to be strong. Will order more.

Seller did a fine job and case is very well made; solid and lockable. However (I should have figured as much) the pop-out cells in the foam insert do not make a very neat gun arrangement. Very hard to configure and they go the full depth of the foam. Thus you end up with a large cutout and you have to stuff foam pieces back in the hole so the gun doesn't fall to the bottom. I will replace with a solid piece but not quite as thick. Should hold gun and mags just fine.

My son inherited his grandpas gun when he passed. He lives out of state and we need something so we can ship to him. This is perfect and very safe

nice, well made shell, but the foam inserts are not so good, upon cutting the foam to fit the pistol the foam will fall apart and become a mess. ordered Convoluted 2 Inch 12in W x 12in L Egg Crate foam, is additional cost but works 100 better. suggest that the manufacturer change to this instead of what it comes with

Fits a small automatic or short barrel revolver just fine. built for toughness and light weight.

Great case for those who travel to a range. Easy to take foam out to insert your firearm and clips. I can fit my 9 and at least another 9. I got the size large.
