I bought 24 of these connectors to wire up the inputs of a 2-inch analog 24-track machine to a patch bay. The whole thing worked perfectly when I plugged it in, and I am very happy with the results. A good plug for bafang style batteries if you want to use a better charger than you got from manufacture. I used good quality lamp cord for the wire.

These mic connectors are supposed to be the best; that's why I bought them. I was replacing the connectors on some cheap cables I'd bought from Musicians Friend. Be careful: don't get the soldering parts too hot because they are fixed in plastic and the plastic can melt. I am a complete novice at soldering, but I would hope Neutrik would make the plastic to a higher temp tolerance so the thing doesn't melt while a novice is soldering it. I had to throw out a couple because I ruined them trying to solder them. If you are good at soldering, I bet you'd have no problem.

Very simple to use. Worked well with the lines in my snake. Comes in 4 pieces, 3 pin plug, body, plastic shield/strain relief and end. Using a hardware store soldering iron, I was able to assemble the connector without melting the plastic that others had issues with.
