The 2 original batteries for my B&D string trimmer lasted 8 and 10 years. For $40 bucks if these last half that long I'll be happy. The coloring is a little different than the original, all black Vs black & orange but they fit the same and work well.

These work better than the ones I paid a lot more for last year. Hold their charge and work in both my leaf blower and string trimmer. Def recommend!

If your few-years-old Black & Decker weedeater is not holding a charge and running down after just a few minutes, the machine is fine and you need these new batteries. Everything is now awesome. I'm guessing in a few years I'll be retiring these and getting another pair, but still not a bad deal.

Batteries meet my expectations.

I have ordered batteries before, and like them. I just wish they would last longer.

Great value for me!!! I ordered these to use with my hedge trimmer. I had a huge hedge that was very over grown, needing trimming. The original battery for the trimmer only lasted a few minutes then hours to charge to get just a few more minutes. I was able to to trim the huge hedge using only one of the batteries. Knowing I had a backup battery just in case I needed it was great knowing no waiting hours to finish the job started.

I use these batteries with a Black & Decker 18V Grasshog weed whacker... The battery fit my weed whacker's recepticle perfectly, but the chargers take a little finesse as the prongs spacing differs slightly from an original B&D battery. However, the battery life is sub-par, as after using both a 1-hour quick charge and the 9-hour standard charger, I only get about 8 good minutes out of this battery at full power, then about 6 minutes of limited-to-weak power before they are completely unusable. Both of them, same way. I don't know if this has more to do with it's use over the batteries construction, but my 6 year old battery that is one of the original Black & Decker's still gives me 12 strong minutes of use and about 15 minutes of use that is limited-to-weak. I wouldn't say these batteries are durable, as this was my first season of use and they don't beat or even meet the expectations of an old 6-years-of-use battery.

Good Backup Batteries to Have for your B&D drill. However they are a tight fit - I have to hold the drill on the workbench and push down to get the battery in. Getting them out isin't much of a problem. The battery itself lasts a long time - at least with what I do around the house and they do not discharge when not in use. The tight fit is the reason I gave them 3 stars.
