great for emergencies,

Great for its purpose, and delivery and expiration date of product were great, too.
i got these water packets for earthquake kits that we keep in our cars in california. the packets themselves are small, but the fact that they are good for 5 years is a huge plus, since it means that i don't have to deal with switching them out sooner (as is necessary with bottled water). the ones we received were produced 3 months ago, so we really are getting nearly all 5 years before they will expire. the seller's response to my question about it (before i purchased) was prompt and accurate, and the delivery was quick. five stars, well deserved.

We have Chronimum - 6 in our tap water and have been toldnot to drink the tap water so i use this, one packet fills the standard ice cube tray and in 105 degree weather that is good.I can take it in the car with me or put it in the refrigator and it is good.will recommend it!!!

water storage
The value of this product is that it's easily stored and I don't have to think about it for 5 years. I've stashed it in an inside closet, to avoid the effect of summer heat in the garage. It takes up much less space than plastic bottles, & tastes clear, with no chemical taste -- no idea of the water source, though. Each packet holds 1/2 cup, which according to emergency sites means I need 32 packets to meet the needed 1 gallon per person per day. Not 5 stars because I would prefer 1-cup packets, and to know source of the water.

Recent manufacture date, taste a bit off, one bag punctured.
My purchase was shipped and sold by Amazon. Shipped in product box containing 62 packets. One of the packets did end up being punctured somehow during shipping. Manufacture date was two months ago, so it has a majority of it's 5-year shelf life left. Water taste isn't great, to me it has a bit of plastic/chemical like with an aftertaste. Water is very important in an emergency, so you should plan on keeping a much larger supply at home. These packets is good to take with you in case you have to leave.

Good emergency water packets
All packets that were advertised were in the box, and all were in tact/not leaking. I received mine on 8/2/21, and the expiration date on the packets say 10/25. So I lost almost a year, but I didn't expect the full 5 years... 4+ years is acceptable to me. Overall a good product for a bug out bag.

Great for keeping water in vehicles, survival needs etc.
Love these because they are easy to carry and use. Keep some in my vehicles all year round and even if they freeze, there is enough expansion room, it is not an issue.. Also keep a number of them in my survival kits and such..Prior I never had any problems.. this shipment I have had two that leaked once I started putting them away in different places.. They may want to double checked their machine to insure they are sealing correctly because both were leaking at the bottom seal.
