High quality product
The Merlin sleep sack is really well made. I do believe it helps my baby sleep better than some of the other sleep sacks we’ve tried. It is certainly the best made one we’ve tried. I don’t see it falling apart within months like the others. I waffled on buying it because of the price, but I’m happy that I did.

Finally something that works!
Our 8 month old daughter would only contact sleep meaning she had to be touching me in order to sleep. We have tried so many things to get her to sleep on her own and this is the only thing that works! The comfort & structure the suit provides allows us to put her to sleep and then put her down in her crib without her waking up. When she’s sleepy she now even crawls to her sleep suit and lays on it so we know she’s ready to go to sleep and as soon as we put her in it she falls asleep and sleeps well in her crib FINALLY. As a sleep deprived first time mom, I can’t speak more highly of this product.I saw other reviews of developmental concerns I wanted to add my comments on from my experience to hopefully help in deciding to purchase this or not. I saw a comment that it can delay in the development of rolling over and crawling. We started using this once our daughter was 8 months old, when she had already reached the milestones of rolling over and crawling. The suit aids in my daughter feeling comfortable to sleep but is not so stiff that she can’t move around in it when she finally wakes up. When she wakes up in the morning she rolls over and pulls herself to standing on her crib and waits for us to get her. It does not restrict her movement to the point where she can’t move & we only put this on her WHEN ITS TIME TO SLEEP not any other time and take it off as soon as she wakes. It also aids in her sleeping on her back (per our pediatrician, it’s safest for babies to sleep on their backs) and prevents her from rolling over in her sleep, but she’s able to move her head side to side freely. We have no issues with flat head. Also, you would need to ensure the temperature in the room is cool enough to prevent overheating in this suit.I thought I’d never see the day she can sleep in her crib. If you have a similar situation as ours, I would recommend to make the purchase it’s worth every penny in my opinion.

Only brand I’ve ever used!
I have only used this brand for this purpose, but I wouldn’t try anything else. Helped both of my little ones sleep through the night and was a good transition from a swaddle.Washing and drying very easy and quick. Has a nice material and feel to it and was just thick enough for a “blanket feel” and kept my children at a good temperature. Zippers work every time and it’s a nice looking product!

Magic!
My 7 month old was refusing to sleep in her crib! After she learned how to roll I didn’t feel comfortable using a swaddle anymore so I’ve been trying to lay her down in sleeper sacks both weighted and non weighted and nothing worked. I finally started reading about transition swaddles and it led me to this one! The first time I tried it, she was literally out in seconds and was taking her naps like a pro! So so thankful for this magic sleeper! We are officially rocking the crib
